I borrowed 200 dollars from Midland Financial and Sand Point Capital and I've paid over 360 dollars back to both of them. They are robbing me. Can anyone tell me how to get away from this? I'm tired of paying them and not getting anywhere. I think I've paid them what I owe already. Please HELP!!

Midland Marketing Group or Bahama Marketing Group. Did you have a payday loan through them or are they collecting for a pdl? There are a lot of posts at this forum made by other members here on this company and so far all I have read are negative remarks. According to other members here they use illegal tactics to collect and are notorious for violating the FDCP. Report them to you Attorney General's office and file a complaint online with the BBB. Have they made any contact with you through usps or is all communication via telephone? What state are you in? How much did you borrow and pay back? What was the name of the original lenders?
I haven't read anything possitive about Sand Point Capital either. Please provide us with the info I requested and we will be able to help you further.
Is your bank account still opened?

Shazzers,
Yes, I had a payday loan through them. They have since sent me to a collection agency called AIS after I sent them a letter revoking auth. from my bank account. I have already reported them to the Attorney General's office my next step is to file one with the BBB. The only way they have communicated with me is through email. I'm in the state of Arkansas. I borrowed $200.00 from both Midland financial and Sandpoint capital I have paid almost $400.00 back to both of them. I've paid back double. The original lender is Midland Financial (at least that's what the paperwork say). Sandpoint Capital is the original Clearwater bay marketing (at least that's what they say when they answer the phone). Yes, my bank account is still open. Should I close it? Thanks for responding back.

The same thing happened to me late last week. AIS supposedly doesn't even have my file on record yet. Have you heard anything from AIS yet?

No, I haven't heard anything. They told me the same thing that. They said that they didn't have my file on record as well. They told me to call back in 2 weeks.

all I can say is don't pay them a thing until they do a debt validation for you. Make sure that you send a debt validation request to them through certified letter (return reciept requested). I know they won't be getting any money from me without validation.

I'm sending them one this week. I've already paid them too much. I would really like back what I over paid them.

yeah, I overpaid them too. Finally closed the checking account down and sent out the C&D letters to the IPDL's and (BOOM!) straight to AIS collection agency. Of course you have to love it when the collection agency doesn't even have your information. I was in Payday debt so deep it wasn't even funny. It's pretty crazy how quickly these can spiral out of control.
