i recieved a phone call yesterday stating that i had taken out a payday thru 500 cash now. these were indian speaking with a very deep accent. this man was very rude and told me that i would do 21 days in jail if the loan was not paid. These people could not give me the date that the loan was supposedly been applied for or recieved. they over talk you and barely answer your questions. is there any possible jail time in the state of mississippi for not paying a loan that you never applied for or recieved..

First of all you cannot go to jail for defaulting on a payday loan. If you could, then over half of the people of this forum would be in jail. This is more than likely a scam. Indian speaking, deep accept, rude, threatening...SCAM. Do not even bother wasting your breath, just hang up on them.

If you've EVER applied for a PDL, especially online, chances are very good that the PDL company shared your personal information with the scammers. Check out the thread Shazzers mentioned above, you'll find some very useful information.

These people are creeps, they stole my identity because of on line PDL's.
