Nick, I won't say the name of the company because of an agreement I had to sign in order to get the refund.

Now seriously, which PDL company or collection agency do you work for? No normal person would have your point of view.

As usual, people - ignore a troll and they go back under their bridge. Respond to them, and they keep posting.

Don't feed the fire, and it will go out. Always does.

Mr. Jenkins(if that is your real name), I understand that you may work for a payday loan company and customers getting refunds for being overcharged may cut in to your profits. If that is the case let me be the first to say "so what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Evil or Very Mad " I have been dealing with a pay day lender that states they are based out of CO but they are not authorzied to do payday lending in their state. This person has tried to call my employer and garnish my wages but my human resource rep quickly told him that unless I had a child by him, owe State and Federal taxes or student loans, then he could not garnish my wages. He had the gaul to want my employer to write me up because I followed the advice of an attorney regarding sending payment to a company that have so many address. Also this company uses the UPS store to get their mail, so if you send any certifed mail they will not sign for it. Sir, until you understand what payday customer have to go through, not to mention that they are illegal in some states then please go away and get a clue and find another job. Peace! Razz

Members, please do us a favor. Do not respond to "nick". We are here to help people. As suebee stated, posting back to "nick" just gives him a thrill. We need to stay focused on the member/guest that needs help. Overlook "nick" and help the member/guest. I know it's a bother, but we can do this.

WIguy, I received refunds also on my overpayments to illegal pdls. However, in my situation, at the time of the refunds, my bank account was on block status, so credits could still come in - no debits going out. So, the pdls just deposited the refunds into my account, I went to the bank, withdrew the money. If your bank account is totally closed, you can certainly request that they send you a cashiers check to your address. I know other members have gotten cashiers checks. It might take a little longer for you to receive the refund; however, you will get it. And, I too, had to sign documents for my refunds. So, I completely understand. Wink

We've heard your opinion...if you're sick of it, just leave. You're not going to change anyone here.

Just do not get your dander up VBM! I am afraid Mr. Nick will have a hard time getting any of us on here to agree that these PDL's are justified in their fees or tactics. Maybe we should be glad that there is ONE individual out there who has not been trapped or stung? I find it awesome that anyone can actually do the pay off every week or every other week...maybe there is hope that the economy is better for some than the rest of us? Tonque in Cheek here.

how is it trapped? maybe they should have went to another company or a friend to borrow money.. instead of taking the money.. and now coming here to find some type of way to get out of it.. how many people on here pay a mortgage? i borrowed 287k and i will pay back over 450k.. is that fair? no way... don't take the loans if you don't want to pay them back.. you guys will see the light someday when someone tries and screw you

Can we not find a way to block Nick? He is not a registered user and it is clear his intent is only to harass not help. He obviously has a lot of personal self esteem issues that he has to try and resolve by coming on to the sight and making other people feel bad. Nick... I hope you can find a better way to feel good about yourself soon!
