Does anyone know if this company is still operating? I made the HUGE mistake of taking out a loan with them, I have been paying interests and renewing for about 4 months but on july I paid my interest and the customer service rep or manager told me that she would put me on a pay down of $50.00 a month because her license was pulled or something like that and she was not allowed to charge me any more interest or renew my loan. They did not retrieve the $50.00 off my bank account last month and I can't reach them since then, I keep getting an answering machine. Some people would be happy under these circumstances but I'm scared because I don't want a surprise withdrawal from my bank account for the $300.00 I owe them since I can't afford to pay the full ammount. Their phone number is 1-800-505-1710. Help!!

It just so happens that I have been doing some research on this company because I applied online for a payday loan with them about a month ago, but I never got a response back from anyone. I tried calling several different numbers, but never spoke to a real person. After weeks of trying, I finally found an address and phone number for the company. This is what I found:

STEN Financial Corporation (DBA Money World Lending)
85 West 3300 South
Salt Lake City, Utah 84115
(801) 466-7070 (phone number)
(801) 466-7099 (fax number)

I spoke with one of the people there, and all they could tell me was that their computer system wasn't working, and to call back in about a week to see if it has been fixed. I did that for three weeks in a row, and I kept getting the same explanation from them. Give them a call and hopefully you will be able to get some real answers, since you have a real loan with them. I hope this small piece of information works for you. Glad to pass it along!

Hello, I know this message was posted over a year ago, but I am curious. My name is Nikki and I was the manager of Money World Lending, until the company sold and I was laid off on July 31,2008. That would be the reason that no one would answer your calls. The company that bought Money World had no idea how to run it and I never would go in to show them how to run it due to how I was treated in the end. But I was wondering what ever ended up happening to your existing loan??
