|
|
I have read through many threads on this forum and am trying to go through the correct steps in my head to clear the PDL trouble I am currently in. Here is the information I currently have collected that I belive will help in lending me advice. Thanks in Advance
State: Texas
All loans Internet Loans
CashNetUSA borrowed $1,400
Paid in interest: $1,426.36
Paid in principal: $895.04
MoneyandMore borrowed $255.00
no payments
Impact Cash borrowed: $350.00
Paid in interest: $420.00
MTE Financial borrowed: $300
Paid in interest: $360
Paychecktoday borrowed: $300
Paid in Interest: $90
PaydayOnline.com borrowed: $300
Paid in Interest: $810.00
Paydayonline.com 2nd loan borrowed: $200
Paid in Interest: $240
STCAdvance borrowed: $200
Paid in INterest: $666
From what I've read it seems my first step would be to close my bank account but with the last bout of PDL withdrawls, my account is negative and I won't be getting paid until Sept 1. This also means I have 2ish weeks before another round of withdrawls hit.
Please advise me on the steps to take to clear this up, I appreciate all the help.
Thanks

Have you tried closing your account...I doubt that your bank is going to close it with a negative balance but perhaps if you explained your situation they might be more willing to work with you. Before closing your account read the thread on "closing your checking account due to pdl's" that will give you a better understanding of what to expect when doing so.
Someone will be around to advise you if these pld's are legally operating in your state.
By the looks of everything it looks like you have overpaid on most of them.

If you are a customer with Bank of America, they will not let you close your account or open a new account until you clear the negative balance in the old account. You may have time to change your direct deposit to a new account that does not use chek systems. Try your local credit union. Good Luck.

Cash Net USA is a legal CSO in Texas. You will have to make arrangements to pay them back what you owe.

I earn at least $20 extra every month doing offers. And you don't have to pay a cent.

So I will need to make arrangements with CashNetUSA...any idea about the others?
Do I close my account and then send letters to the ones I have overpaid? And by letters, which letters do I send? by Fax? Mail? Email?
