I live in the state of Maryland and I currently have four payday loans. All of these were internet loans. My loans are as follows:
Money and More Advance $255 (0 paid at this time).
NLS Payday $250 ($79 paid)
Huskhawk Group $300 (0 paid)
Cashnetusa $500 (102.96 paid)
I contacted Longhorn and PDL Assistance, however I would like to try to handle myself with some assistance from all of you of course. I am not sure about the fees that they charge and I have heard some horror stories about these agencies. Both of these agencies recommended closing my account, which I have done. What should be my next step?

Cash Net USA is a legally operating CSO in Maryland.
The other companies are not legally operating.

Good thing this site is owned and operated by the Oakview Law Group. Otherwise, a site moderator making statements like "not legally operating" would be expressing a legal opinion and would be a felony.

I may be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that website operators cannot be held liable for content posted by others.
Also, I think there's a legal disclaimer on here somewhere

So, Guest, exactly which offshore payday loan company that is not licensed in the US do you represent? If I had to guess, I would say MTE, as they seem to take a beating here pretty regularly.
Also, do you happen to have proof that those who are posting regarding the legality of companies like yours are not actually lawyers?
Finally, the site owners cannot be held liable for anything posted by members other than themselves.
