You have to close your account or have you bank put restrictions on it. MTE will not stop until they feel like they have been paid regardless of what you state laws say. How much did you borrow from them, how much have they taken so far and what state do you live in. Are they your only pay day loan?

I would close out your account as soon as you can and open another one right away better yet use a different bank all together and give your info to no one! Very Happy

I've heard they never stop. In fact I've got two MTE PDLs (under ameriloan and United Cash) and they keep trying to take money out of my CLOSED account. (Got to love the internet enabling us to check all the time).

So the only way to keep them from taking your money is to move it somewhere else... But they will never ever stop debiting that account. (they probably keep trying even after you've settled and got a PIF too!)

ej - if you are still here, MTE Financial is a totally unlicensed/illegal company. They will continue to debit your account as long as they have access to it. If your account is open/active, they will hit it whenever they want for whatever amount they want. They are never-ending. If you could post more information, we can help you further. However, if you chose not to, that's okay. Just know that MTE is unlicensed/illegal & they will continue to debit as long as they have your bank account information. Please beware of them.

File a complaint with the BBB. They finally agreed to mark my account paid in full but they did not come through with a refund.

ameriloan and United Cash are part of MNE, not MTE. I would definitely call their processor (Intercept EFT, ask for Cindy) and let them know that a C and D has been issued at both the PDL level and your bank and that they (the processor) are being asked to debit on a revoked account. Make sure you let Ameriloan and United Cash know that you have done so.
