I know that Cash Net 500 is illegal. They are not licensed in any state.

PA doesn't license these types of companies. So you could call and ask them for their license for any state if you wish to confirm. Most of the time they will just hang up on you or tell you some BS story. But MTE isn't licensed, or any of it's dba's, and Geneva Roth isn't licensed.

a, let me jump in real quick. Your in PA. Pdls are prohibited. You're not going to "find these companies" in PA to see if they are indeed licensed. Of course they're not going to be licensed in PA. They are prohibited. However, PA will allow a pdl if they are licensed SOMEWHERE. You only have one pld that actually is licensed SOMEWHERE which is Cash Net USA as goudah pointed out several times. The other plds are not licensed/legal. They are illegal. They are "double illegal" (if you like that term!) in your state because your state prohibits pdls. Stop stressing on whether they are licensed/legal. The only one that is is Cash Net USA. They are following the law of the state in which they are licensed. You're stuck with them. The others are not licensed/legal. If you need the addresses for these companies, I would be happy to post them for you. Don't freak out. Now... let me just also jump in about your bank account. Did I not read that the debits are due out Friday? This Friday? And you're going to close your account tomorrow? Wednesday? You need to be awfully darn sure that your bank account will not be forced back open due to pending pdl debits. That's cutting it really, really close. Also, frog apparently has sent you a debt validation letter. You do not need this yet. You only need the letter to send to the pdls. You have so many people helping you that you're getting too much information! Which could be a good thing! But, first, you need to make sure that your bank account is closed/blocked/frozen/hard hold, whatever they want to call it. You want nothing to go through. Nothing. No debits, no checks, not ATM card, nothing. Hard block. This way the pdls will not get their debits. THEN you can send the pdls the letter revoking everything. Do not send the letters out until after you are 100% sure your bank account is blocked/closed. And, if you're cutting it this close - pdl debits on Friday - you need to be sure it won't re-open or you need to put a hard debit block on it with the assurance that nothing will go through. I know this is all very confusing, but one step at a time here. Okay?? It's not a problem at all if you do it one step at a time. Would you like for me to provide you with the needed addresses? Just remember, send the pdls nothing until your bank account is 100% taken care of.

Yes, Thank you soooo much for the last post. I would like the addresses. And I want to thank you for breaking down step by step as to what I should do. I will make sure my account is closed first, then with the addresses you send to me I will send the letter to them individually. I really appreciate it. A

This may or may not be a "good" address. Try it. I can't remember if mine came back "moved".

This is also a d/b/a of MTE Financial. So, if this isn't a good address, use the MTE address.

AFTER your bank account is straightened out and you are sure the pdls can not hit it and get any more money, then send the pdls the letters. Send each one a letter separately. When filing complaints, file a complaint on each one separately. I know this is very overwhelming. If you have any questions, just post!

I was just contacted at work by a Ms. Moore from PaydayLoanYes saying she was in the litigation department and that I owe 575.00. She wants a payment of 270.00 by Western Union this Friday, and then she will work with my on the rest for payment arrangements. She said I should have read my agreement and she can get me on fraud. What do I do? Is this another one of their tactics?
