A, none of the ones you listed are notorious for wage assignment. However, I covered my a$$. I revoked any wage assignment that I may have signed in my letter revoking debit authorization. I figure better safe than sorry. Revoke everything under the sun!

I just read this --

We had one member who told her pdl that she was dead.

Oh my god!! And what happened with that?! Did it work?

I'm sorry, but I'm cracking up here! Because, mlposting, no it did not work! They called again anyway and asked how to get ahold of this "dead" person! Now how sad is that? Just goes to show you what we're up against here.

krist, you wouldn't believe how many d/b/a's they use. And, I also encountered what you encountered when dealing with them via the BBB. They flat out lied. Totally lied. Big time lied. Was I surprised? No. I was mad! But this is just how they are. What can we expect from an unlicensed/illegal company? Honesty? Doubt it. They'll lie until the cows come home. Awful, awful, evil, evil. Please do forget about them until they drop off the face of the earth. Which I do so hope will be very, very soon.

I also had pdl with MTE (United, 500 fastcash, payday loan yes, one click cash, paycheck today) I settled with 500 fastcash because I was tired, in the middle of moving, then afterwards I started receiving phone call but since I le the answering machine answer they would hang up, now that I have move and gotten a new number I have not heard from anyone (we asked the phone company not to give out our new number) in the meantime I have heard from the Financial Reuglations Office n Florida and I just finished faxing every document and copies of emails received from these pdls. and they are acting up and checking them out. The person that I spoke on the phone from Tallahassee told me they were going to crack down on these illegal pdls. Itold her also that I had settle with 3 and had received refunds but she also wanted all documentation that I had on them. So hopefully something will come out of all these complaintsto the AG's office.! By the way I have overpaid on all of these pdl so I don't feel any remorse about not finishng paying them off. (I have done so with all the overpayment!

I got an email from tim(at)payday-loan-yes.com today about a problem with my checking account. Well they should have a problem because I closed my account and by the way I had a loan with Paycheck Today not payday loan yes. That just shows you that they are all connected and apparently can't even send an email from the right company. I sent him my letter back about them being illegal. I haven't heard anything back yet today so we will see.

Thankyou for responding with numbers to mte. Dont know for sure if thats them because im calling late in which a breaf message comes on and than disconnects. But today just when i thought i was done with my payments they took a wopping 140.00 from my account. I dont feel thats right because 50 plus 90 four times seems to be enough. It was only 300.00 that i borrowed. All this adds up to be 550.00 dollars. Wow what a rip off. They are so horrible. Tomorrow i will try to contact the numbers that was giving to me and hope i achieve something. They just have to be wrong. Another thing when they take the money from the account there's no number. Bad business. After this im going to file ach with my bank against them for taking out this 140.00. If by any chance you come up with any other numbers please let me know. Thankyou for your help!!!! Maybe we can turn this frown upside down.

Try this information. I'm giving what I have when I dealt with them. The phone number and fax number are correct, as is the email address. They will get whatever you send them at the above address if mailed. Also, they will get any email you send. If you can't get through on the telephone, fax them or email them. They will get it. I promise that.

You are only obligated to pay back what you borrowed, if the comoany is illegal. MTE is not licensed anywhere to lend. You only owe the principle.
