Is this even possible? I think most of the time with MTE, you're lucky to just get a PIF.

But, I could have sworn I remembered reading that someone got a refund from them....

Hey Fellow NY'er you can bet I will be watching this thread! Did you see my post yesterday? 2 PIF's from MTE dba's and one more if they move the date of final payment on principle. I finally got my package mailed to the AG's office. I sent it priorty mail. I sure hope they get involved, if for no other reason to shut these people down.

No - I actually just mailed my complaints to the AG this morning. While I was working the forms up I went online one night and filed all the lenders with the BBB. These PIF's came in via their responses to the BBB. (3 from the same BBB but their not MTE oh sure) I could either accept or reject and then print out a formal printout of the entire transaction.

I am surprised that you have been held this long by MTE. They turned me over to a third party collector almost immediately! Of course they failed to validate!
I never heard of anyone getting a refund! They have so many dba's anything is possible.

Sorry! I'm cracking up! A refund from MTE? The fact that they even acknowledge they exist is amazing to me! I don't recall anyone getting a refund. However, I could be wrong. Everything I've come across is "give us more money even though you've overpaid" or "we'll mark you PIF even though you overpaid". LOL! Laughing

Cannr my BBB complaints must have hit the desk of a newbie or my other thought is that they were laughing their arzes off at how much money they got out of me over the years. I think United Cash Loans was one of my very first payday loans. I was updating my spreadsheet today and here is the scorecard on MTE and their dba's: PIF - United Cash Loans, Paycheck today, 500Fastcash and MTE financial - One Click Cash wants $200 for a PIF but they counted all of my payments on the current loan toward the principle and the $200 is all I have left on the principle. I'm negotiating the date for payment on that one because I need another 2 weeks. ameriloan is the only MTE left and I had only made one payment so I still owe $420 in principle. I haven't heard one word from them yet. I totally think it was the luck of the draw after I read all the trouble you have had with them.

I'm happy for you! I swear, I really, really am! I am just now convinced that they have all our "customer" names in a huge ball, like the lottery numbers. And they turn the ball, reach in, pull out a name, and say "This is the one we're going to harrass and not budge with." LOL! That was MY name that day! Laughing

I too have pdls with United Cash, One Click Cash, Paycheck Today, 500Fastcash I have overpaid them all, filed complaint with AG office, BBB, Division Financial Regulations, and I have not gotten one penny nor PIF letters, I just finished settling with 500Fastcash They owed me a refund but I had to paid them the $95 in order to get the PIF letter and delete any derrogatory info on teletrac. I am still waiting for refund ha ha!! Mpme of them are license in Florida. Ipaid the 95 because I was tired of them but I am not paying them one penny more.

It is so strange how MTE works...United I went ahead and paid their "reduced offer" of $100 just to be done, another of theirs 1000 EPDL marked me pif after the AG's letter...the third, US Fast out and out refused to work with me at all...but are sitting in my management plan....weird huh??

Oh, yes. No rhyme or reason. Read my post regarding USFastCash and see what the you-know-what's pulled now. Watch any MTE Financial pdl d/b/a. Horrible. I know some people have had luck with them (and I'm calling it luck) but others - they are out to make their lives hell. I guess they pick and choose. I don't know. And I don't care. I'm going after them all again after what USFastCash did. Here we go again..........

Thank you, morningstarr! I swear, I'm not getting tired of fighting them. I'm actually getting BORED with it now! I mean, how many times do I have to send the same thing over and over and file complaints over and over. My God. They have a sign in their office with my name plastered on it saying "Get Her!" LOL! Laughing

I think MTE's tactic is to just wear you down. They continue to go at me (and I'm sure others) and I really think they believe that I'm (we're) going to say "Okay, whatever. Just take the money and leave me alone." Ummmmm... others may do that. And I think that's fine. But, I'm not going to do it. For all the grief they have given me, they can spend more time on me. I won't let them "go away".
