I have a pdl with mycashtime.com and I recently worked with my bank to have the ACHs stoped from this company so today they are calling me accusing me of fraud and such, so I contact them to see if I can set up payment arrangements but they say that it can only be done over the phone not via fax or e-mail. I just wanted a copy for myself showing I was trying to pay this. What do I do??

The reason they are telling you it can only be done over the telephone is because they want access to your bank account information. Don't fall for it. Shoot them an email so you will have all this correspondence with them in writing, ask for a physical address to send payments to, and ONLY send money orders. They will probably resist, and tell you they have no physical address to send payments to. They may even threaten you will all kinds of crap, don't budge. I would tell them, no address, no payments. Make sure this is all done in writing so you will have a record of it, in case you need it as evidence, just in case they try to sue you!

They can`t charge you with fraud. That is a scare tactic.

BTW be careful though if you are in Texas. Texas laws are rough and they allow the PDL advantages that other states don't. Just a word of warning...Have a blessed day!

I don't know how to check to see if that company is even legal. I know that some of the good guys like Gooda and Shazzers know how to check. I have seen them tell others which companies are legal and so forth. But that would be a good place to start...I live in Texas too and it seems that in Texas these predators have more rights than we do. But they can not charge you with fraud. Stay positive and do not give them your banking information. I do know that I have read on some other threads that some of the forms that you sign when you take out the loan give them the rights to take the money out of any banking account that you have. I am not sure how that works, but I am sure that someone else will come alone that knows the answer to that. That it what is so great about this website. There are some people who know their business here. Just stay calm and patient and someone will be along...

Fraud is the crime or offense of deliberately deceiving another in order to damage them – usually, to obtain property or services unjustly. It's good that you will report to the bank where accusing you fraud. Because in many cases, the judge always when it comes to fraud, so as early as now try to settled it to the bank before it's too late.

I tried and am continuing to try to grt some sort of information to settle this from them but they keep on telling me that they can't say anything via mail, fax or e-mail and I keep telling then that its for my sake and they say nothing. Then I ask them if I do call will I receive a copy via fax or mail or e-mail that states what the arrangemtn will be and they also keep avaoiding that question.
