Hello

I recently found out that mypdaydayloan.com is not licensed to lend to residents of my state, Virginia, and I sent them a cease and desist letter via email. Unfortunately, it looks as if their address is in Costa Rica. How do I go about filing a BBB complaint and an AG complaint if their physical address is in Costa Rica? Has anyone had any past experience with this illegal internet payday loan company?

Thanks for the advice !

I would file anyway, there is not much that can be done to them as they are out of country but at least you will have a paper trail. you do not need anyone to back you up with them.. what's right is right, you know they are not legal. demand a settlement amount where the prinicpal only is due and demand a physical USA address to send it to. if they don't comply they do not get paid.

Yup, she's right^^^, and please pay them no more than the amount you borrowed to begin with, they will threaten and harass you but remember it's all empty threats. If I were you, I would email them and request a valid physical address to send payments, with a money order, if they refuse to give an address to you, or claim they don't accept payments via the mail then I would simply tell them, no address means no payments, the end.

They are giving me a very hard time, sent me an email that they marked confidential and I can't disclose what they said....I guess they are worried others might find out bad they are, I emailed them asking for an address, and they only responded by saying that I need to contact them by phone. Not going to happen. I also filed my complaint today with Ohio AG.

I am dealing with mypaydayloan.com. I too filed a complaint with Ohio AG in earlier this month. I have in fact over paid them. They are still harassing me. How did your experience end with them or is it still ongoing?
