That is one of the things that these illegal lender do when they want to scare you into paying an illegal debt. AJ, what you need to do is to tell someone if this is a storefront or an internet company that is calling your place of employment. What state you live in and someone will look up the payday lending laws in your state.

I'm going to be downloaded at 11:00 this morning. He called me to tell me this a few minutes ago. I told the idiot to fax me something in writing and he said he couldnt do that...he wanted to read over the charges to me..."internet fraud, theft by deception, wire tapping, bank fraud...I got about as far as asking him is it going to hurt when I'm downloaded? He told me I needed to take this matter seriously and I said you do what you need to do and hung up!

Is this the same foreign guy that I wrote about "Foreign Guy, thick accent". He is so hard to understand, he has left me messages, last Friday and yesterday stating the same, leaves some 220 or 202 number (cannot understand), take this matter seriously if I do not contact him he can only wish me "Good Luck". No 1-800 number, nothing in writing just his irritating voice that you cannot understand. I just don't want to ignore him if it is valid but shouldn't he speak clearly and follow up with something in wiriting. I have never received anything from him.

It is starting to bother me alot.

I'll be curious to see what "downloaded" means. What is that downloaded to the police, FBI, or what? This is crazy. These people are unreal. I know that if you owe a debt you should pay it but them being unrealistic and having someone call you that you cannot understand is not right. I don't believe I have any debts that I have not taken care of. I believe that there is some sort of a scam going on here.
