You can not be arrested for not paying off debts....In my state it is illegal to be charged for unpaid internet loans....I just know I'm getting tired of being "downloaded"....

This is too funny to me I had to jump in. Actually the company told me that its name is Financial Crimes Division. The foreigner said his name is Harry Austin. Is that his real name? LOL – He would not give me his mailing address. I guess I will keep calling them and bugging them like they do me.

When this guy calls my number he doesn't give his name now, just serious matter, contact him urgently and mumbles a number that starts with 220 or 202 (can't understand his accent), no 800# and the number shows up as private/blocked on my phone, he has now called Friday, Monday and today...same message no reference # no name of the company, nothing else just if I don't contact him (which I cannot because I do NOT understand him, he can only wish me GOOD LUCK...I am starting to really worry that he is being this persistant but if he really wanted to collect, he would speak clearly and send a letter in the mail certified if he is so serious about collecting on a debt because I do not intend on paying anyone that does not validate a debt that I do not know what it is. Made that mistake before...Ellis & Crosby.

HELP...should I be scared?

Gard-I think you are finally starting to catch on to these jerks....My whole point Monday when a man called her looking for me and gave me a number to call back 615-369-0414 and didnt give me a 1-800 # that is the first flag that went up for me. Usually CA's will give you a 1-800 to call. I am not calling long distance for a collection agency. Then first thing Tuesday morning the same man called my place of employment and he too had a very thick accent. I couldnt hardly understand him. I asked over and over to send me or fax me validation of the debt. He refused. He said they couldnt. 2nd flag went up. If a legit collection agency can NOT provide proof of the so called debt then in my opinion and what I have learn from this awesome site that the debt is not valid and they can NOT do anything to you. No, you should not be scared. This is a scare tactic. That's what they want you to do. Be scared. Be tough and dont back down.
