Well, after clearing up all of my payday loans, I stupidly took out another.

I'm trying to find out if Nationwide Cash is licensed in Iowa. I have looked at the Iowa Bank website (linked form this site) and they are not listed, but I'm not sure if they are a dba. The way I read the Iowa law, they need to be licensed in Iowa (not Delaware as stated on their website), correct? Even if they are licensed, they are overcharging by a substantial amount.

Thanks.

In Iowa Internet payday lenders are not legal, either because of restrictive laws, or because the state does not license companies not located in that state, but requires a state issued license to lend. No, they aren't a licensed lender, and they are ruthless! CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.

Is this storefront or internet? There is a small chain in central Iowa that is licensed. All internet lenders are unlicensed in Iowa.
