Default nationwide cash and jimmie

This company man is spouting the same old rhetoric about an internet payday loan my wife took out. "She signed a loan document stating that we were in New Mexico and she is obligated to abide by new mexico law blahblahblah". Same old BS. Does anyone know if they are licensed in New mexico?

I think they are licensed in NM, but I can't be 100% possitive because my information is on my computer at home. What state are you in? I can tell you one thing, Nationwide MAY be licensed in NM, but they are a royal pain in the butt to reason with!

We live in VT I know they're illegal here, trying to get a paid in full as well as a refund. Does anyone know how to search for a license in new mexico?

If PDL's are illegal in VT, then then it wouldn't matter. They have to follow the laws of the state you live in and that would mean that they lent to you illegally.

yeah, I know they're illegal here. To answer the original question, they are licensed in New Mexico, and I'm probably going to be reporting them for not following new mexico rules regarding rollovers.

I would report them to the BBB & the attorney general in VT & NM for lending to you illegally. I don't think the rollover part would matter because they shouldn't have lent to you at all, if they were actually following VT law that is...
