There you go...DON'T EMAIL THEM AGAIN...as stated in their email to you...file the complaints and send them with the letter.

You're done...they can't legally sue you...all they can do is harrass you...

Move on...enjoy your vacation...and if this persists, stand your ground.

I agree, you have done what needed to do in the past to resolve the matter. They are idiots and need to go drink acid

Go and enjoy your vacation and sleep easy at night

actually no i cannot mail it. i do not have a physical address for them! i sent the same email to their collections department with no response so far.
it makes me nervous how they said they are sending emails to their legal team because as i said, i used my work email at first..
i am so stupid and so mad at myself for this!! reading other threads, i am not even sure if i even had a loan with them. i have no signed agreement, i wonder if this is a scam! they said they do not accept anything mailed and they do not have a physical address. they said collectiosn will only talk via phone but than gave me their email address. what gives?
i am really worried about this company though..

Could one of their numbers be 888-322-1885? i got a call on my cell phone as well as my work phone from that number. It was an automated "if you are so and so, press one if not hang up".
i also got a loan document from them?? i am so confused, did anyone else get a document via email? there is still no address on this so i cannot mail them anything i just wrote back that i did not apply of agree to any of this (i did not even get money deposited! i think they tried to put it in my old bank account!) and not to call me. 5 min later my work phone rang. i just want to cry at this point.. i am going away next week and do not want them calling my work! i am scared they will tell my job stuff.. it makes me wanna cancel my trip in fact. should i just call them??
i found a webpage! this is the link that they sent that does not work (they purposely typed it in twice so it would not work, i bet!) http://starcashprocessingb.virtualcollector.net/

i accidently answered their call! i was at work and it threw me off guard! they want me to call them with a prepaid credit card number by tonight to make an arrangement for them to take money out of the card in two weeks.
i know this does not sound right - why would i trust them to wait to take money out? why would i ever give them any kind of card, prepaid or not? and i am not sure if i even had a loan with them! it said on the "contract" that i recieved this morning that they deposited money into my old acccount. i have no idea if this was done last year or if they tried recently
all i know is i want all calls to stop at work, whats the best way? to ignore them 100%? or to confront them?

I'm not sure what they best way is but I do know that not giving them anyone to argue with tends to stop them a little quicker than if they have someone to argue back with. It really depends on how aggressive the caller is.

thanks, thats all i really care about. they do not scare me, i doubt i ever owed them anything! i just want them to leave me alone at work. they can call my other numbers forever, i do not care..
in the past, my knowledge of the laws usually stopped companies, also a simple c & d stopped them. even geneva roth did not call my work everyday! even US National stopped calling and they were about once a week.
but these people are crazy! i have no idea how much they will call.. or how much more they will call. of course i am not giving them a prepaid card. i told them no and they said to call back before 9 pm tonight if i change my mind or the calls will start calling again tommorow..

Tell them you are a friend of the person they are trying to contact and she is now deceased.

I'd send a letter stating that you (they) are an illegal company, PDL's are NOT legal in NJ, you have been reported to the FTC, AG, BBB, ASPCA (just kidding on that last one).

And due to their illegal activities, you are demanding that any communication be done in writing so that you will have evidence to pursue legal actions for their harrassment and illegal activities. Hopefully THAT will get them to open their eyes and go away...

If you haven't already, I would file those complaints. Tell the AG that they are calling you multiple times a day (if this is the case) and that they are jeopardizing your job! Let us know what the AG office says...you can call them and ask them what are your rights to get them to stop...I'll bet when you tell the AG office that they won't give you a mail address, they'll step up to the plate!

shazzers, if they did not throw me off guard at work, i would have done that!
I did file with my AG office, they are pretty useless. they told me to try the BBB! I had problems with them in the past, too
i reported them to the FTC, as well but with no address it is hard.
I will try to call the AG again, though..

Tell the AG office that PDL's are illegal, they won't validate, they won't give you a mail address to correspond and that they insist on calling you and harrassing you after you have told them to stop.

Have you searched this site or the internet for an address on them?

Did you call your bank to see if they DID deposit to your old account (they can look at the history if you don't have your statements)? If the money was deposited into your old account, it may be sitting there...tell the bank to return it, then tell the PDL to FOAD!
