Hey fellow Ohioians, I was just wondering if there is any new "word on the street" about what the lenders are up to, pending the new law. I've not seen anything else in the headlines this week.

propaganda is when someone wants to convey a message, but that message has there point of view only.it is also rigged to back up that point.in other words the pdl's alerted the media, staged this little clip for them to give this impression.

I posted this a couple of days ago . . . archieved now:
I have 3 store front loans. I've called them all up to ask what to expect. They are more than willing to tell you the store's plan.
I can tell you what I've been told, but I recommend calling on your own. Your stores may be handling things differently from mine.
American Payroll Advance- not loaning anything to anyone "at this time".
Check into Cash - Business as usual for current customers only.
Advance America - Business as usual for current customers only. They also said that they believe they will have an additional 90 days to operate, after the bill becomes effective in 90 days.
Cashland - Loaning to customers that have been doing business with them within the last 2 weeks. However, they willnot loan you more than the amount of your last loan.
When you know what they are doing, you can make a plan to pay them off. It is better than worrying yourself sick.
Goodluck!

Here's what I found out today. National Check casher, loaning new customer 100 max, repeat customer 500 max, you must bring in a currect check stub, bank statement and you have to "prove" somehow that you don't have any other PDL out. They have told start looking for new jobs, they will be gone within 2 months. They said, they are taking no chances with folks having mutliple loans out once they leave town and they don't want to have to "fight" other lenders to get there money first...Which makes sense.
