Payday lending is legal as per the state laws of Ohio. In order to know whether or not your payday lenders are licensed to operate in your state, you need to contact Ohio Division of Financial Institutions. Their official website will be "http://com.ohio.gov/fiin/".

I would assume they are all illegal since Ohio only allows low cost interest of 28% I noted the tribal loans which definately are illegal.

CashNetUSA is your only legal lender.

They operate as a CSO or installment loan lender, not a a payday lender so payday loan laws don't apply.

They will give you and extended payment plan. You have to ask for it. They'll break your current balance into 4 equal payments due over your next 4 pay days. No further interest will be charged.

For the others, follow the advice here.
