Question about Payday Ok status... Long Post

So I sent in my PIF, refund, revoke ach, cease and desist calling me or refrences, illegal, etc etc etc, letter into Payday Ok.

I have yet to hear from them, and my account isn't scheduled for a payment until 6/15/07 BUT..

I logged into my account to check things out and it says

Quote:
Your account is now Past Due.
To get your account current and avoid additional costs or damage to your credit, please select 'Pay Options' below and choose a payment today.

To make alternate arrangements please call us today toll-free at (866) 612-4507
or email us at accounts(at)paydayok.com

1st set of questions...

What now? Is this normal? Are they going to try and fight it with me? Just the 1st step in them marking my account PIF and sending me a refund (I have seen that a lot of others have received refunds from them).

I just want to know what I am in for from here. I also expect the same thing to happen with my Paday Select account since they are with the same people.

2nd set of questions...
Payday Select..They allow you to apply for a loan increase after you start paying down your loan. I had overpaid my loan with them by the $355 but had the ability to increase my loan $120 and have that deposited to my account. Well, I did it. I increased the amount I "owed" them from $380 to $500. I then waited 5 days and sent them my "PIF, refund demand". Is the fact I increased the loan going to hurt me? I only did it to give myself my own refund. Even after I received the other $120 I have overpaid my loan by $235.

I dealt with Payday Select. I did the same thing you did...I kept applying for the increases and when it was all said and done, I ended up paying over 1200.00 for a $500.00 loan. I sent them a letter stating the laws in my state and that even though I took all of the increases they offered, I still way overpaid the loan. They are actually really nice and they are giving me a refund for half of what I overpaid. I think it just depends on the laws in your state.

Glad you had success with them. I sent them that same type of letter. I just got concerned when payday ok put the "past due" status on my account when my payment isn't even due until the 19th. I am ready for a fight, just don't want one.

Here is an update. I sent the same email I had sent to customer service to the accounts(at)paydayok.com that was on my previous post. It was to contact them for payment arrangements.

I just tried to log into my account again and it now says.
We're Sorry,

We are unable to process your login at this time. Please contact a customer care representative for details at support(at)paydayok.com.

Do you think this means they are going to mark it PAID IN FULL? I still haven't heard anything from them, just the changes when I try to log in to the account.

Melissa,
What PDL company do you owe? You can do a search using the google function on the boards to get contact info. Good luck.
