ABout a loan i took out over a year ago. I know I paid them but I have no records anymore because it was out of an old checking account. He said he was with the legal department and my balance was over $1200.00 screamed at me the entire time. I told him I wanted the stuff i agreed to and signed in writing..he said that was not available. He said they were sending all my info to my payroll department for wage garnishment to collect what I owe. How did they get my payroll info?? What the heck can I do... i can not afford for them to take over $1200 from me. He said even if I revoked it they wouldnt not adhere to it because as far as they are concerned I cant revoke it! What do i do!! What do I tell payroll??

It does not matter what they say. You can revoke a wage assignment. It is strictlt voluntary. They need to validate the debt, if they say iy it still unpaid. give your payroll a copy og the wage assignment revocation letter. They should not honir it

First off, take a breath. They want to scare you and if they do, they've won. So that's not going to happen, right?
Now you are going to fight back. The first thing you do is get a letter out to your payroll dept saying that you revoke any wage assignment letters you may have signed with Route 66. You might not have signed anything, but it's good just to get this on record.
The next thing you're going to do is hunt for any documentation showing that these fools were paid. Call your old bank and ask for them to order the statements showing the debits. You might have to pay a small fee I'd assume for this service, but it will be worth it.
Then the next time the riff-raff call you, get an address. You are going to send out a debt validation letter to them, which makes them PROVE that you owe this debt. I would also try and get a fax number to send your documentation to--or send it certified mail if possible.
Good luck and let us know what happens.

You need to send the wage assignment revocation letter to the PDL asap. They are voluntary , but should be done prior to them sending anything to your payroll .
