I cannot believe it!!!!
We sent the email to VIP Cash on the evening of 3/30/12. We never thought we would hear from them again... Hubby got a call last week asking to verify our address and told us that a check (gave the check #) along with a letter telling us the account was paid in full would be coming. We still didn't believe. Came home this afternoon and the check was in our mailbox!!!!! They really refunded us the $1,690 that we overpaid!!!!!!!! Thank you to everyone who has posted their experiences and valued information. We used the letter that Ohiogirl has posted in her threads and just copied and pasted it into the email!!!
The bank account has been closed and the check was cashed at a local Check cashing place. We are sooooooooooooooooooo happy!!!:p :shock:

That is wonderful. And makes me hopeful. I sent VIP their email on 4/11 and haven not heard a peep out of them. And when I log into my acct with them it only state "welcome back. You do not have a current loan with us. Please click below to apply again". They owe me money so I hope to get a refund. Of course I would just settle for a letter stating acct PIF.

Its good to hear such success stories. Makes the lot of us a little more hopeful, being caught up is this debt snag and all.

I have been trying to get a refund from them for a long time and the representative says there isn't anything else she can do.
Can you PLEASE provide me with the information to whom ever contacted you. They also owe me a great deal of money

I am glad for ur success. I too have recieved a call from VIPLOAN re: the email that i sent. They sent me an email thanking me for my payment. I then sent them a follow up email requesting my refund. I received a call re: the last email, but i didn't call back.
But after reading your successful story, i am going to call tomorrow to see what they have to say..

Peach - If you don't mind me asking what state are you from. Just wondering if the state someone is from makes a difference on receiving a refund or not? Oh by the way. Congrats on the refund!!
