Okay. It's BIG. Very illegal. They sent you an email? That surprises me. I only got phone calls from the overseas illegal operations. Hmmm. Anyway, you need to file your complaints. Do NOT worry about them! Please rest assured that you're okay. You can go to the BBB site and see if they have any info on them. You can use the phone number they gave you and see if anything comes up. We need to get their contact information (address) so that you can start filing your complaints. I know they are a d/b/a. Is it Cash Today/Sonic/whoever??? Please help! BIG is part of who? Some one refresh me here!!!

Okay. I've got a website (which is nothing but phone numbers) but you can use it to file complaints.
BIG LTD.
big-int.com
Phone: 1-877-282-5450
Collections: 1-877-283-6730
Fax: 1-877-762-7350

Go to the BBB website and file a complaint, go to the FTC website and file a complaint and go the your state AG website an file a complaint. Be sure and tell them this was a VERBAL agreement. You have no loan documents.

Any questions, please post!

Oh. P.S. - Do not forget to include the amount of the loan and how much you paid on it. They will be extremely interested in that information.

B.I.G. is part of Interim Cash/GFSIL and I think Cash Today. They are not affiliated with the Sonic Cash/Payday Avenue bunch. B.I.G. is the worst. Definitely file a complaint with the FTC. Very important to do that.

Thanks, sass! Cash Today! That's who I had. I knew it was one of the d/b/a's that I had. Lordy. Let me look and see if I have an address. Isn't that the one on Terminal Drive in Reno?

Okay. Here is the information I have. You'll get a kick out of it. Anyway, here's the address for their US "drop box" before being shipped overseas:
1005 Terminal Way, Ste. 110
Reno, NV 89502
Here is the "contact information" that they gave the BBB on themselves:
His name was "Michael Michaels" (Oh, okay!)
Phone: 877-210-9423
email: csd(at)cash2day4u.com
They gave the BBB a first response saying they would review my account and get back with the BBB. Needless to say, never heard another word from them. The BBB had to tell me they never receieved any further contact. Imagine that? MICHAEL MICHAELS didn't contact them again. Surprise, surprise! LOL!

This is just to let all who have responded and have helped me in the last couple of days to feel MORE informed, confident and happier to KNOW there are other people in my situation and THAT THERE IS A WAY OUT!!!

I can't believe, but then again... nonetheless, was shocked to find out I was dealing with B.I.G who is ILLEGAL!! I will be filing those complaints with FTC,
BBB & AG very soon.
QUESTION re: this point....If I contact by any of the numbers that cannr provided and reach a live person, what do I tell THEM, seeing I know they are thieves.

Here's the latest on my progress:

Today, I canceled my Direct Deposit.
Got the letters I need for, revocations for ACH & Wage.
QUESTION re: this point.. Do I send all of the online and storefront ones or just the online ones.

Tomorrow, I am seeing the bank manager, getting a hard hold on my account and any options or their suggestions on Colorado laws, that will protect me.
Also,I will be calling the 3 storefront Managers and see what they say. My payments are due on the 31st.
If I have time I will also call CashNet and try to make arrangements with them.

Let me say this. I feel so much better THANKS to all the people that are SO informed and the many helpful info I have read from other posts and your links!

So how does all of this sound? Am I on the right track? I will definitely stay with this Forum until it's OVER! and then may continue on as some of you are doing..."been there, done that, and will never do it again" and help your neighbor in this superb Community!

sand, you were surprised that BIG is illegal? LOL! I'm sorry! But almost 100% of these internet pdl's are illegal! God love them all! Anyway, if you try to contact any of your internet pdl's, if you've overpaid them, I would state that. If you haven't paid the principle amount yet, I would state that. However, I personally wouldn't try to contact them via telephone. Just me personally. You can chose however you like to deal with them. I like everything in writing. You're sending out your pdl letters, so I would do just that. Not call and send out the letters. But, that's just me. Because if you SPEAK with these people, they will argue, lie, and go on and on and you have no documentation of this. Also, make sure you go to the bank and get that hold put on your account ASAP, as your pdl's will be "pending" soon. So get that taken care of. Also, contact your store fronts yourself. Call them and let them know what's going on. Since the store fronts are legal and licensed, you want to stay on the "right" side of them. Don't just send them a letter or something. Let them know you are not "hiding" from you debt with them. Call them, explain your situation (say whatever you want), and ask what the next steps are to be able to make payment arrangements. Please post with any other questions. And, if anyone disagrees with anything I said or has more opinion from experience, please post for sand. I don't want to misinform anyone!

Hey great people!
Today I talked to bank (Chase) and they said they do not do a hard hold or anything like that, only if there was proof of an account that was erroneously debiting my account. (Which by the way happened to me just recently, which didn't have anything to do with payday loans; it was another ripoff company that was charging me for a product that I purchased months ago!!)
Anyway, there was nothing the bank could do for me.
So I had stopped by direct deposit and I don't really have any other outstanding items, so basically there won't be enough money for any of the pdls to get any money. And, they made me feel, I was doing something illegal, as I explained the situation to them. But I figured I'd be covered by stopping the direct deposit.
However, the thought occurred to me, and I think mentioned by one of the members that this was okay to do; so my thought is, I know I have to contact the storefronts, which I am doing in a few minutes, so if they don't send in my check, then there is no fee; BUT if they do and it may take a week for them to come back, however, won't there be a large amount that I will be charged with for all the nsfs?? I have the 3 storefonts, Cash Net, 500fastcash & the illegal one, B.I.G.

Please answer soon on the above.
Plus, questions:
When I send out letters, 500FastCash & do I send the letter to B.I.G at the Reno addresss?

I want to type these up tonite and mail tomorrow.

Also, seeing Cash Net is legal, do I also send the Wage & ACH Revocation letters to them? Will it matter if they get them after the due date? Or should I send overnite ot something, maybe there are fax number??

Thanks, and someone please respond as I am pressured because they are due 7/31?

Blessing to all of you!

I'm confused. You have 3 store fronts. Okay. But the names are like internet pdl's. These are store front loans? BIG is an illegal internet pdl. I'm so confused! And 500FastCash? That's a store front? Please post so I can be clear!

here's the info you requested:
1) Local storefont : Amt. Financed $350, 211.21%apr, Finance Charge $60.75 = due $410.75 (I pay once a month on this)
2) Local storefront (Check Into Cash) -Amt. Financed $350, 443.21% APR, Finance Charge $63.75 = due $413.75, (I pay this on the 15th & last day of month)
3)Local storefront (Mister Money-USA) - Amt. Financed $350,$443.21% APR, Finance Charge $63.75 = due $413, (I pay this on the 15th & last day)
4)One I am not sure of APR, done over the phone B.I.B, I borrowed $200, and have to pay back $280.
5) 500fastcash, Amount Financed $250.00, APR 782.14%, Finance Charge $75.00, due $325.00. I have made two $75 payments
6) Cash Net USA, Amount Financed $300, finance charge $60, I pay this on 15th & last day of month.

And B.I.G. Ltd., which you guys told me was illegal.

I am calling the 3 local storefonts & CashNet
(internet). The ones that are legal.

But what about internet ones, B.I.G. that I have no paperwork at all.
And The 500Fast Cash .

Please respond, with this information, and my latest post that I just previous wrote.
Thank you again cannr. We've been in contact in the last 2-3 days and I'm glad you are around again, as you have been helpful.

Okay. I think I have it now. You listed your 3 store fronts first. Then you have CashNet, which is internet, however legal. Okay. Right? You need to contact the store fronts and CashNet. Your due date is the 31st. Okay. Right? Contact them BEFORE your due date. Tell them the account is screwed up, there is no money in there, and their checks are not going to clear. Ask them is there a way to set up payment arrangements. Some store fronts will tell you they have to send the check through the bank once to get it returned in order to make payment arrangements. Some store fronts will hold your check and you can make payments until it's paid. CashNet - I have no clue what they'll tell you. But you need to contact them BEFORE the due date. Hell, call on Monday. It's a day before. Call Friday the 27th, if you want. But just be up front with them since they're legal. See how the store fronts handle it. Whether it be them having it turn it in once or if they just hold it for you. Whichever, you can make payment arrangments with them. But be up front with them so you don't get into any trouble. And CashNet, too, since they're licensed. Check your state pdl law. It should say on there if they can only charge one NSF fee or whatever. I think my state says one NSF fee. So they'll tack that on what you owe. Your main concern is letting them know that so that they won't keep submitting your check to your bank and racking up NSF fees. But check your state law to see if it actually says on there how many times they can present the check. As for the 500FastCash and BIG, they can be put on hold - as long as they do NOT have access to your bank account and can NOT debit. Let me know if I'm correct on all this. I get confused! Your legal ones are the ones you need to worry about, not the illegal ones at this time. Your deadline is coming up, so contact them first, before they contact you.

Sandi, first off, Chase is lying to you about not being able to put a hard hold on your account! Who did you speak to, a teller? I would be persistent about this or you are going to have serious problems with your bank account. Ask to speak to a manager because they fed you a line of crap. Other than that, it really souns like you are moving in the right direction. cannr has given great advice-take care of the storefronts and Cashnet first. 500fastcash and BIG are on the backburner. I didn't go through and read every post in this thread but did you already open another account at a different bank? Good luck and let us know what happens!!
