ok so i sent off my letters to the payday companies, and got a call today saying that one of them went to a law office such and such and they needed payment or a court summons would be ordered. they have called previously but wouldnt leave a voicemail and called late at night sometimes. i tracked the phone number and it wouldnt give me a name but it located it to be in my state. so i payed it, although im puzzled about the whole thing, so tomorrow im going up and changing my accounts, meaning gonna close that one and open another just incase. what bothered me was they asked me for my credit card number but then asked what bank it was through? I did owe this ipdl a little bit of money and was more than willing to pay it but things just seem odd. so i still have 2 more ipdls left ....

advancemetoday- borrowed 500 - paid 1512.50 by my records i tried to log into my account with them and it says loan status charge-off

usfastcash- borrowed 350- paid 210 so far and sent them an email stating i want to pay the 140 no email back yet

what is my next step if any? and should i be worried? im a nervous wreck now and cant sleep much, i will NEVER do this again!

What state do you live in? Are your lenders licensed in your state? If not, then you are required to pay back only the principal amount. You will be happy to know that illegal lenders can’t take any legal action against you. Ask them for the refund, as you have overpaid them.

for one bottomfeeding pdl's and the bottomfeeders that collect for them bounce signals to make it look like the call is coming from your area.the place that called was a bottomfeeder.why?because nobody can take you to court that fast, and btw you would be sent a summons first.the "we will sue right away"is a classic scare tactic.don't fall for it again.now for the others.those are tribal and you don't pay them other than with a money order.the one you overpaid demand refunds.bottomline i know all of your lenders are illegal and anybody trying to collect will use illegal threats to get you to pay.report them before paying them.

i live in ct. i contacted them via email and told them that im willing to pay my principle but want a response from them in writing. the other one i sent the email stating i overpaid and want a refund, no response yet. the one IPDL that i owed was vandelier group, that was the phone call i received yesterday about paying what i owed. was told if i didnt they would proceed with a summons. so i payed it but now im afraid they may try to get more. i did use my bank card(i know stupid now that i calmed down and think about it). can they get into my account if i cut off that card? im going up to bank and putting a deposit only on that account and gonna open another. if the other usfastcash responds i will use a prepaid card. weird thing is when i signed up with usfastcash, vandelier group showed up and deposited money into my account without me signing anything.so are these three illegal IPDL's

advancemetoday
vandelier group
usfastcash ???
the account they all had for payment has been closed, but i incurred nsf fees from bank as they all tried to put through payments multiple times in one day, can i some how get rid of those fees i owe bank.
so im going to call this number back that called me yesterday and see if i can get any info out of them since they said that they were going to send me something in writing and email to confirm. no email yet.

since pdl's are prohibited in CT all are illegal.just know that form now on treat any threat of legal action as an illegal threat.btw yes cancel that card and get a new one.as long as you didn't give the actual account number just changing the card should work.in fact try to recoup the money you gave as unauthorized.for future calls ask yourself how can a state that prohibits pdl's allow a lwsuit for one.the law firm would be laughed out of court.again just remember that when this,or another bottomfeeder calls.last thing yes use only a prepaid debit card for the others, but only after they accept the fact of what you truly owe.not what they think you do.

the bottomfeeder gave your account up when you changed the card so now you overpaid on that loan, and don't think otherwise.btw this debt can't be reported on your credit and this agency they gave it to is another bottomfeeder.i would not pay another dime on this loan.again you gave 135.00 to a bottomfeeder that you owed 25.00 to.report anybody else that calls on this.btw it's too late to get that $$$$ back so just see this post and do as advised for future reference.
