Goudah and Shazzers, I saw when the new PDL laws went in in Oregon, it included things like cash call, think cash etc. I can't seem to find if that will happen here in OHIO. Do you know how I would find that information, and Goudah just curious if our in law in Ohio does include those types of loans, if I already have a loan with those folks, would I be able to get any help or reduction of fees? Thanks Reny

When Oregon passed it's laws, it made it so that no loan could charge more then the 36% . . . . It wasn't just directed at Payday loans, and that's why the other types of loans were affected.
I'd have to look closer at Ohio's new loan laws. But the one thing is, they aren't retroactive, meaning the new laws would only apply to loans taken out after the law goes into effect.
