Ok, i've called and spoke with the manager named Dee..
I've told her that i'm not going to re-pay the loan off in time. I've fallin under hardship and I just can't do it.
She stated that she will hold the check's for another 2 week's, but I said i'm not going to re-pay the loan off, it will be gaining interest.
She said the same thing, but she refuse to take the next step and send in the check's.
She also stated that it's up to the district manager to say when the check's will be cashed, she can't make that determination.
So again, I told her that i'm not going to be able to pay off the loan. Is there any way that I could get on a Payment Plan?!?!
she again stated that it's up to the district manager to say when the check's will be cashed, she can't make that determination and also she's giving me another 2 week's (with interest mind you) to pay off the loan.
It seem as if i'm getting the run around from her..
Jeez, I hate I got myself into this!!

Okay, dee, your storefront manager thinks she's doing you a "favor" by holding the checks for two more weeks. I've run into this situation myself. Actually the storefront manager CAN set you up on payments. Now, they may have some sort of policy in place to where they have to deposit the checks, have them returned as NSF or CLOSED, then they will set up payment arrangments for you. However, here's what I did. I was tired of playing the dumb game with the storefronts. I contacted the district/regional manager myself. I explained the situation. I explained the store manager was not working with me. The district/regional manager called the storefront herself, set everything up for me (and hopefully gave the storefront manager an a$$ chewing) and I was set to make payments when I walked in the door. Another storefront that I dealt with the corporate office directly did everything for me over the phone. I paid THEM, not the storefront. So... my whole point here, dee, is see if you can find the storefronts corporate office. Call that telephone number and tell them your situation. They will either take care of it themselves or give you the number of the district/regional manager (hell, I got the cell phone number!!). If I remember correctly, I think I searched the BBB site for the storefronts I had problems with, found the corporate office of them, got the phone number, and went from there. If you can't find the number of the corporate office (but I think you should have no problem), call the friggin storefront and tell them to give you the telephone number.

Ok, today I called the Store and again, I told the Cashier that I wasn't going to be able to Pay off the Loan and I told Dee last week I wasn't going to do so.
so she ASK ME WHAT DID DEE SAID, (Holly Sh$t)!!
I just ask for the Regional Manager Phone Number. She gave it to me quickly, was in shock!!
Now, my loan is gaining interest and i'm still not on a Payment Plan.
Called the RM, left 2 voice Mails.
They didn't Provide me with the corporate number when I ask. So, is there a number that's listed..?
I'm not getting anywhere with this.. the sickness of it all!!

Sad

Okay, this storefront doesn't sound as if they have their act together! I just did a search hoping to find the storefront corporate office. It's not distinguishing the corporate office, just all the stores. Crap! Can you try calling another branch of your storefront and just ask for the corporate office telephone number. See if you can get it that way. In the meantime, I would call the regional manager like every 30 minutes until they called me back. I am so sorry this is happening with you. See if you can find that corporate office phone number. It's easiest just to call one of the storefronts and ask them. Please post if you find anything out.

Ok. I have been gone for a week but I finally got in contact with the District Manager.
They tried to cash the Checks and they both came back (Finally) !
She stated that it will Probly be in two payment in a huge lump sum. (Which don't sound like any payment plan to me) .
I'm just wondering..
Could I get the letter that I put my signature on for Garnishment Reveres??!?
Gotta go back to work, will keep you all posted.
Thanks a bunch for your help!!!

You are in Illinois, correct? And on your loan documents there was a clause regarding wage garnishment?

Yes and Yes for both Question's.
Everytime I call they act as if they don't know who I am or what i'm talking about.
It's like talking to Children, very sad.
I ask the Manager how and when a Payment Plan starts, she stated that they will call me everyday to see when i'm going to make a payment. It's like they have nothing Establish what so ever, I don't get it..

So, what I'm getting here is that the storefront won't set up an actual structured payment plan with you. They're going to call you every day and see when you're going to make a payment? How crazy! Did you happen to offer them a payment plan of your own - like $50 every two weeks or whatever? If not, try that approach. If you have and they're still being this unreasonable, please post. We might have some other options here.

Ok.
I got in contact with the Regional Office Downtown chicago.
Spoke with the Manager for that District and told her everything.
I told her about the loan I didn't want to take out again after they was so much in a Rush to cash my check and I was back into a rock and a hardstone when I could have just pay'ed off the interest.
so, Dee's manager gave me a call and ask today when could I come in a make a Payment.
Again, I ask her how can I get on a Structured Payment plan and again she wanted to know when I could make a payment.
I told her I will call her next Friday and I should be in next pay period to make a payment, but I still want to know could I get on a Payment Plan...she never answerd my Question.
I have the corporate Number if you want it.
And also, What could I do to prevent them from any Garnishment..?
They also sent a Affidavit to my Job, but my HR put it in the shredder because it isn't a court order.
Is there anyplace I could send a letter to complain about this company..?
Thanks for ALL of your help!!!

Shocked

Okay, apparently this storefront is going to operate like a few do. They'll hold the check and you just go in and make payments on it. Fine. Whatever floats their boat. Just go in on your payday and give them whatever you can give them. If it's $50, fine. If it's more, fine. If it's less, fine. They won't put you on any kind of structured plan, so go that route. Just show up on your payday with some cash in your hand. You can ask them again when you go in to pay if you can be put on a structured plan, maybe they'll change their tune. If not, just hand them a payment and tell them you'll be in on your next payday with a payment (whatever you can afford). As for the garnishment clause, I honestly don't know. I mean, if they're taking payments, they shouldn't garnish you. Honestly. That's why I say go there on your payday and hand them some cash. Tell them you'll be back on your next payday, etc. I had a storefront that I just went in and paid whenever I could. It wasn't a structured plan. I just went in and paid them what I could, when I could. They might just be doing that. However, you can file complaints against the company for their "non cooperative nature" or something along those lines. You can file a complaint with the corporate office (who really didn't seem to help you that much - maybe they need another phone call) and you can file with the BBB. It's up to you. You can try the going in on payday and asking AGAIN for a payment plan and see what they say and then decide if you want to file complaints. But, if I were you, I would call the corporate office back and ask them specifically what their policy is regarding the garnishment clause. Will they only enforce garnishment if no payment is made? If you are making some type of payment, will that prevent garnishment? Call them and ask them that specific question.

I currently have 2 payday loans that are in default(Cash Net USA $585 & Nationwide $700). When trying to work out a payment plan they wouldn't extend it beyond 3 payments, can they do this or am I able to pay as I can? Also when speaking with Nationwide they somehow found out I had another account with another bank and said if I didn't make the payments they would debit that account, can they do this? Thanks in advance for your help

Oh Karmel...you probably need to start your own thread so you won't be missed. I do not know about Cash Net, but Nationwide I do not think is a licensed company. They are probably assuming you have another account? Do not panic, but you will probably want to post how much you have paid these creatures in fees, etc.
Someone smarter than me can give you the advice you will need. Coming to this site is the best thing that ever happened to you...trust me.

If it's CashNetUSA, they will be licensed/legal.
karmel, what state do you reside in?

I stay in Illinois...
The Store Front is in Bellwood, PLS store.
They sent me a letter sayng if I pay it off, I will feel good about myself along with restoring Credit with the store.
I told the store's District Manager that I will pay off the loan, but all of this B.S could have been avoided if Dee (the store manager) would have just listen to me.
It's just been so much strife dealing with this company. I'm still considering sending the B.B.B a letter of compaint about the store front, it's Sad how they do there business.
