I've been reading several threads on this site and I'm pretty sure my online payday loans are all illegal in Louisiana becuase none of the companies is registered here. I'm not behind on any of them, but on most I've overpaid the principal amount. Could someone confirm that the following are illegal lenders in Louisiana?

Magnum Cash Advance/ICA - $800 - Paid $977.72
Loanshop-Quincy - $500 - Paid $450.00
Loanpoint USA - $500 - Paid $1140.00
Ashland Enterprises - $300 - Paid $1260
TIOR Capital - $300 - Paid $1170
Ideal Gelt - $300 - Paid $270
Sigma Solutions - $200 - Paid $178
Western Sky/Cash Call - $500 - Paid $75.82

Obviously I am willing to pay back the prinicpal amounts on all of the loans, but if they loans were illegal, I'd like to avoid anymore interest and fees and recoup some of the overpayments. I have a collections attorney willing to help me. What should I do. I'm going to my bank to talk to them about stopping the next ACH withdrawals tomorrow. Since I just paid them this past friday, I have two weeks before they come up again.

I wish I had found this site sooner!

I am quite sure that these companies are not legal in LA. However, it is better to confirm from the following link:

If you are willing to pay back the loan, I think first of all you must confirm whether the company is legal or illegal.
