RoxyNY- I loved that movie. I love ROCKY! though I quit watching after the Russian.... But Balboa was really good even if I about balled my eyes out during the first few minutes.. But that scene between him and his son on the sidewalk, it was at the time very inspirational to me. I was like no way -- this is good stuff, I actually took what Rocky said to heart. It was so true.

anyway- I hear those trumpets now....

So Rox, you picked that up

We all can do anything.....just stick together even against forces that seem bigger than us (ie-Drago from Rocky IV)

I was excited to see the avatar. Lorim, I have raised four boys and a husband, I could probably quote Rocky in my sleep. However, I have to give my son credit for that one. He has that saying tattooed on his leg...I thought it appropiate for all we have been through here.

me too, I am surrounded by the male species myself. My animals are even all males.
I am out numbered on everything.

but we all love Rocky ! My son is learning to play trumpet, I am always asking him to learn the theme song. But he is just learning so I can wait.. They only seem to teach them Christmas songs! LOL!

I hear that. Mine is into guitar. UGH!! But he loves it so I listen. I have tried to get him to go to lessons but he does not want to. He may have to before I loose my hearing. Rocky and Godfather are rainy day marathons in this house

My people love the old time gangster movides..but they will drop everything if the GodFather is on TV, Movie, HBO whatever... I believe given the right number of people they could act it out.
