I have been here before, but things have gotten worse. I recently (two weeks ago) took out (9) pay day loans in just a few days. They are all store front, and I have a internet loan (cash net usa). Let's see, where to start. Well, I live in Nevada
and all those loans I took out weeks ago are all due today, right now. My work has been flooded with calls from overdue loans, which I expected and have brought on myself. I fortunately am by myself today at work, but come Monday, they will all be calling again. Can I tell them that I don't work here anymore until I get a few pay checks to start paying these back?? I am scared. I could loose my job if my boss catches wind of this. I am afraid to talk to pdl people because I don't know what to say. I feel like such a looser. How I got into this was, my husband lost his job several months ago, and then became ill, and then injured. I have (2) kids and was left to pay the bills on my own. I just could not make ends meet. Anyway, my husband is going back to work soon, but I want to know what else can I do, can I consolidate?? and if so, with who?? The internet pdl keeps trying to debit my husbands check account every day, and now it is $400.00 over drawn from the fees of returning these debits to them. I am not even on the bank account. In fact, when I tried to deposit a check in his account made out to me, they returned it because I was not on the account. What can I do to stop them from debiting my husbands account, and make payment arrangements with them? I made arrangements with them several weeks ago if they would stop doing that, but I failed to make payments because I had to make rent. We need to have a place to live. If I could consolidate, I could pay one monthly bill and get out of this nightmare. Could someone please help. Oh ya, with all of these loans and the weekly interest, it probably totals $5,000.00.

You will need to list all the companies that you have the loans with and more than likely some one here has dealt with the company.

About the bank account, you may have to close it to keep them from debiting it. They will keep trying and keep putting you further in the hole. did they deposit the loan funds into this account? How did they get the bank account number? Are the loans in your name or your husbands? If they are not in his name and your name is not on his bank account and they did not do any deposits into his account, he should go talk to the bank and tell them what is going on. As embarrassing as it is, you are not the first to be in this situation and you will not be the last as long as these companies are out there.

First thing to do is to take a deep breath, know that you are in the right place, list the companies that you have the loans with and someone will come along to help you out. goodluck.

You could consolidate them. If you will search @ the top, it will bring up the companies to call about consolidation.

Hi and welcome to the forums! What I want to know is, if your name isn't even on your husband's checking account, how is the PDL being able to debit it--if you, not him took them out?

To go along with kscornell's post...If you aren't on the acct, why did they fund it with a loan in your name. Don't they have to verify that it is your acct to begin with??

Usually an internet pdl just looks at a bank account as a bank account. As long as they have an account number and routing number, they'll jump on it. How digusting is that? She has one internet that keeps trying to debit causing the account to go into the red. The only way to prevent this from happening is to close the account. However, all her other pdls are storefronts. I'm going to post the state pdl law for her so that we can all take a look.
