Talked with Langhorne today. Asked a lot of questions. Seems like I will still have to pay $150 over what I have already paid to settle. Two of my loans are paid (principal amount) one is $30 away from being paid and two are still owing monies on principal. Seems like a lot of money to settle these debts. $2000 in total to settle about $600 still owing on two loans. Think I can do this myself?

llw....I absolutely would do it yourself....especially considering the PDL's are illegal in your state of NY.
They can get their $ when you can pay..on your terms.

VBMom thanks for the vote of confidence. Like I said I have already paid 2 in full, one is almost paid and I don't have a problem paying any of them off as long as it is what I borrowed.

No worries llw!  I agree, you are almost there and you can do it yourself and not pay someone else a fee....apply the $ you would have paid someone to your loan balances to get them paid quicker.

VB Mom. . I have been going over the previous posts and have found some very interesting letters. I don't have monies coming out of my account until the 29th of this month and the first of next month so I have some time to get to my bank, draft the letters and get them into the mail. I hope to start the process over this weekend. Thanks again for all the support that this board offers.

I have been using Langhorne for 5 months now and I am very satisfied with the progress they have made. I have one paid in full and 3 others that have offers made. Should be down to only 1 more left by the end of the month.

In the past 5 months that Langhorne has been handling your accounts what type of contact have you had from the PDLer's? I am curious to know exactly what will happen once they get on board. Thanks a bunch.
