I received a fax from the office of Patrick Corbett at my job in which one of my coworkers left for me on my desk. But my question is isn't that a violation to send a fax in the open with all of my information on it? I don't know what the debt is for. I am sure it is a payday loan. Have anyone dealt with them before?

I checked out this Patrick Corbett law office and he apparently has A LOT of hits on the rip off report. They collect on payday loans and use illegal methods to do so, including threats of jail, charging you with fraud, etc. Apparently this fax was just another scare tactic. File a report with your attorney general and DO NOT speak to these people. Don't stress over them because these people just want to threaten and intimidate you. If they had a legal leg to stand on they would have done something besides what they did.

Don't ya just love that RipOffReport.com? They have saved me a ton of aggravation by going there first. Wish I had of discovered it, or this board BEFORE I got in bed with the slugs of the PDL world.
