I would send them a counter offer. And do not send them money through money gram use only money order or a pre paid cc.

What made me laugh is when they put in the disclosure about the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act they will follow that rule but not the law of being licensed? lol

Good for you lucy, hopefully they will take your very reasonable offer and settle and you can be rid of them. I'm going to stick it to them myself....and only give them what I owe on the principal....

RE:

Mr. Wade,

We have reviewed another rebuttal forwarded to our company which Kristi filed. In this rebuttal, she is referencing a company by the name of United Cash Loans. We have no affiliation with any such company. The settlement letter which she pasted a copy of in her response was not sent to her by our company. Her account with our company had never gone to collections. In fact, she had not even made her first payment for the loan that she received from us before filing a complaint with your institution.

As stated in our most recent response, sent on 10/17/07, Ms. Ulrich had 24 hours in which to respond to our offer (which we sent directly to her when she initially filed a complaint directly with our company). Unfortunately, due to the fact that she has not accepted the offer made and clearly refuses to repay the debt, as she plainly stated in her most recent rebuttal, the offer is no longer be valid and her account has been referred to an outside collection agency for recuperation of the loss. We will consider this matter closed unless we hear from you.

Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

Respectfully,

Compliance Department

What do I reply back to the BBB??? Did I mistake that they are the same companies?? HELP!!! Embarassed

Latest Blog Post : Decision

MTE has about 30 DBA's...just ask Cannr...she has a list going somewhere..I had both of these two....but each one is treated separately by the "mothership" so to speak... even though they are all part of the same base. I think I had 4 all different names and they all reacted differently to my defaulting.

Yes, they are MTE Financial. MTE (evil) lies. They also claimed to me that One Click Cash is "not them" and USFastCash is "not them". Yes, they are.

This dept is unable to do that. Any reduced balance must be paid in full, especially if we offered to waive all fees, and essentially give you free money with no interest. If not paid by 10/31, then the account will continue in collections for the full amount, and you will need to make arrangements with the collections dept. This offer was more than fair, and if you cannot meet it, then that is your choice. We placed the funds in your account, at your request, for your own use. We are asking for those funds back, and we have given you the funds for more than 2+months, interest free. That will end tomorrow 10/31/07.

I do want to pay my $300 settlement with your company. However, I request that the $300 be broken down to 4 payments of $75.00. I do appreciate the help you provided in funding me the loan. I just request that we can negotiate a more reasonable settlement that will accompany my needs.

Do I continue to fight with them through the BBB or what? Mad

I'd continue to fight them, through the BBB and try filing complaints with your state again if nothing has come of that.
