After what seems like forever, Shaniqua at Eastside Lenders agreed to accept the principal amount of my loan! YAY! What a relief! So, instead of balance of $295 it's only $80, payable in 2 installments! Woo Hoo! 
I'm pretty much done now. The only one I have left is GFSIL and I already know Jenny and I will battle it out forever.
If it wasn't for this site and everybody's stories, advice and support, I would still be taking out loans to cover the other loans. Instead, now I'm keeping my paycheck for myself and I've gotten my life back in order.

I am glad to hear this!! Gives you some relief too! Be sure and have them get this agreement in writing, so they don't come back and say-what agreement! Good Luck..Karen

Geat job! Forget GFSIL. They are an illegal overseas company and cannot legally collect anything from you. Just keep hanging up on them until they go away! One more congratulations!

Thanks everbody! It feels great! Frog-I am DONE with GFSIL. I have satisfied my obligation with my overpayment of fees and I'm not giving them another penny!

GFSIL is still trying to get money out of my old account six months later. Every once in a while I get a form email or a call from the overseas crew. I just hang up.

ald! Hold up! Shaniquia responded to you? I'm still waiting for her to respond to my last email where I asked them for their license number they are operating under! I think we were responding to them at the same time! I have never heard from my friend Shaniquia again! When did you get your response? I'm soooo happy for you. Very, very happy! It gives some hope. But, I'm curious as to know when you received your reply from our friend Shaniquia. Good for you, my friend!

Thanks, volley! I knew someone else was dealing with Eastside. You have "Tammy". We had "Shaniquia". Well, obviously Shaniquia likes ald and not me. LOL! Or we've ticked them off by asking them their name and license number they are operating under. LOL! So sorry, Tammy and Shaniquia! But, you know, I did tell them there would be no "negotiations" until they give me the full name and license number of the company that they are operating legally under. Hmmm..... you think that's why they didn't respond?

Cannr-I started my emails to her again last week and finalized it this morning. I pointed out that when I first took a loan with them, I was uneducated on the laws/rules/regulations with PDL's. I had read an article in the newspaper(or found a website )that opened my eyes. Therefore, due to my past overpayments on illegal rollover feesn I felt as though my debt was satisfied. We emailed back and forth for a few days and agreed that since I had paid $120 in fees, if I just paid $80 to pay back the principal we would call it even. DEAL!!!
