I have read other peoples stories on this site and I am there too. I am having to move, I am loosing my house...I can't pay rent and I will be homeless. The fees alone exceed my paycheck...I don't know what to do. I looked into consolidation, however it doesn't seem possible... if I could qualify for a loan I would have never gotten in this mess. Maybe you can help somehow? The homeless part doesn't bother me as much as my two black labs which I love more than anything. I don't know what to do. I feel so stupid for doing this...it was so easy...I don't know what I was thinking, I was just so desperate. Is there anything that will make this manageable? An attainable consolidation loan? Anything?

Okay...couple of things to get you started-
1-Register on our site here...this way we can send you messages and send you copies of letters to use.
2- Can you close your checking account? This is the only way to stop them from debiting for sure. Attached is a thread that gives you good info about that.

Kim..its going to be okay. If I may ask, how far behind are you on the rent? You know in CA it takes awhile for the eviction process.
We have all been there or are going through it right now....you are in good company here.

Please, volley. Is there something we can do so that this guest and her dogs are not out on the street? Anything? We've got to be able to keep her and her dogs from being out on the street. If there is anything I can do, make phone calls, do research, whatever, please just tell me. We can't let this happen.

There are definitely 2 issues here-the pdls and her rent.
I need to know what the arrangements are she has with her landlord and if he had her sign a lease/rental agreement, whatever. There are strict tenant laws in CA. This will help gauge how long she really has in her place.
The pdl's....need to get that account closed first.
I hope she comes back....

You all are incredible! My dogs are everything to me. I checked with my bank, they will close my account and not let anything thru....this will allow me to work with the landlord and I can stop packing. But right now, can't stop crying!!!

I hate to bombard you with questions, but lets get those PDL straightened out and have them stop taking your $$ that belongs to YOU!
When are the next scheduled debits? Can you close the account right away?
