I applied for a loan from them too - I signed my name at the end of the application - but have not heard anything from them. Is this a scam?

I received a phone call from a foreign person who could not speak good english at all, #414-200-0254. Claims to be Financial Accountability Law Firm. Claimed to be pressing 3 federal charges against for for fraudulently obtaining a payday loan, not paying back and one other. Would not give me the name of the payday loan company etc. Told me not to disregard the message, but if i did wished me "good luck". I am terrified. He had my email address, etc. and called my employer. I have 2 payday loans which I am paying on. I have no idea who this is and I am terrified.

that is a scam.this place(if you can call it that)is in INDIA,and either bought or stole your info from a pdl you had.file AG and FTC complaints.also file a police report for harrasment.then hang up in his earhole next time he calls,or don't return his v-mails.he can't and won't do anything but call.it is not worth your time to talk to the idiot.

They have called me at work so many times. Each time they call, i get a different name, but it's the same person. Each time they call, they leave a different phone number. It got to the point where I ended up threatening the person calling me and telling him that if he calls me at work again, he is going to need a lawyer or he can represent himself (being they are a so called law firm), and I also told him that I reported them, all their names given and phone numbers to the federal trade comission. Do not let them scare you into anything. Like everyone else is saying, they are an illegal collection agency calling from India. The last time they called me he told me he was a "Sr. Officer". I asked him for his banking license # and he told me that he could not give it to me because the call was being recorded. Then I asked him being he was an "officer", for his badge number and can you believe he gave me a badge #? Darling, don't worry about these people. If they call you again, tell them not to call you at work or at home. Their only means of communication has to be through email or in writing through the US Postal Service. Keep track of their names and phone numbers and log onto the FTC website and file a claim.

Do I have to say yesterday I was looking for any kind of information on Payment Direct and could find to much. This morning I saw this with the email to Janet@paymentdirectonline.com and I emailed her, I have an outstanding loan with them that I have over paid. Janet emailed me right back apologized to me that nobody has gotten back to me, she stated that if I wanted a refund I had to do certain steps, however she had marked my account as PIF. I am getting there and I have to say thanks again to everybody sharing their experiences. I had 10 payday loans and now I only need 3 more to respond with PIF's and I will be done with this once and for all! Unfortunately they are the harder ones from what I have been reading. They are Ameriloan, Nationwide and Eastside. But I am feeling better knowing I am down to 3 though!

I sincerely appreciate this heads up but I have not been able to confirm the previous quotes. So far, I have only been charged the $89.00 processing fee and nothing more. I will however, be careful not to borrow again once my loan has been paid off. And when paid if I am still charged a fee. I will input on this site.
