we had a payday loan called check advance once. i was paying 300.00 dollars in intrest every two weeks. then i stoped paying them.they tried to cash my check but i made sure i didnt have money in my account. i was charged a fee because it bounced.then after aweek they made arrangements to repay loan, with out the interest so i paid the account up.they know if they take it to court, they would only get the 1,000.00 i owed, and nothing more, but you cant get another payday loan from them again.

have you tried going to your Church or looking for a church in your area that has a community outreach - I know I was able to do that and just got right back into the mess again - now I'm going thru the langhorn - I would close my account if I were you and also if there is a negative balance get the bank to put a hold on all debits until there is a positive balance

God Bless - and I'm so grateful for HIS mercy

It doesnt sound like it is a very nice loan, but again same with pdl loans, it comes in handy when you need it, but it bites you in the butt later and sticks with you...
i am sooo sorry to hear you are dealing with that, they might be worse than a pdl actually, sure arent any better, fromwhat i see here.

Just to tell you, with Cash Call, they will NEVER work with you if you're having trouble paying the loan back. And as I said before, you pay almost double the loan back. Also.................they ask for references. Don't do it!! They will call and threaten your refernces, too. For example...........they were telling my references if they din't give them a phone number for me, Cash Call would have them arrested. A bunch of crap like that.

We have 2 store front pdl's and have paid the value in fee's. We are currently behind on mortgage and have hospital bills. We are burried in debt the loans outstanding are 457. and 1200. Our account is in the neg. every month. What is your suggestion on how to get rid of these loans. I have 5 children and no groceries and our pay checks are spoken for every payday. Help me if you can.

Thank you

RAe

Rae...You should start a new topic post to get started. Put what state you live in, who the loans are with and how much the loan was for and how much you have paid each place so far. I just started on here a few days ago and already I feel better. For food, contact some local churches (even if you aren't a member there). I'm sure that some have food banks to help or can direct you to one. Make sure you and your kids have some food in the house!

Rae. I'm thinking about you. I know how it feels. I was on the verge of a breakdown. Keep your head up. People here are very helpful. Just reading around, I have learned so much and I am slowly getting back on my feet. Trying to deal with Cash Call.

I agree again with JDrager79, dig around in the forum for Cash Call and also check out a Consumer agency (legitimate one) in your area who can work out payment plan for you and your legitmate/legal creditors and ask them what do about the rest. You may want to check into giving all creditors advance notice you will be closing your bank account, the date, etc and then close it on that date. Open a new account with another bank if possible. I don't trust banks to not link accounts when one is not properly closed. Best of luck to you and keep on looking around in here also. Lots of great people who are trying to help others.
