All of the help I have received from this sight has been great. Now I have one more favor to ask... does anyone out there have addresses for MTE Financial, M1Y, My Cash Now and BIG? I've overpaid all but My Cash Now and the lenders are all illegal in the state of NC. I am trying to get letters out to each of them.

Forget about trying to contact BIG. They have a mail drop in Reno but it is just for show. They are in the UK. The only way to deal with them is to let them know in no uncertain terms that you will not pay them another dime. They will call any number they have including your employer. Warn you employer ahead of time that you are being harassed by a bunch of crooks if you feel thatt they will call there. There is no other way of dealing with them. They are illegally operating here and have no legal recourse to collect so they resort to threats. My favorite is when they say the you will be "downloaded to our legal department and someone will arrest you at your job!" That is going to happen real soon! Not!

I found a fax for BIG and it looks like I now have fax numbers for all of them. If I fax this letter to BIG I guess I can assume that they are going to call my employer. Might be in my best interest there to just pay them and be done even though I have already overpaid them by $300.

no. Big is so illegal, they can not collect anything ever from you. dont give them another cent. especially if you have overpaid by 300.00.

I think I will send the fax to everybody since it looks like they all have PO box addresses. Can you send a certified letter to a PO Box?

you can. They put the slip in the box and the receipient (sp) has to go to the window to pick up and sign for the letter.

Thanks again everybody! The letters are typed and the account has been closed. I verified with my bank that the debits will not force the account reopen. Just to be on the safe side she even placed the account with a deposit only status prior to closing. I was going to fax the letters from work but I decided I will take them to Staples on the way home tonight to fax them. I am also sending the letters certified mail tomorrow. Happy Valentines Day to everyone. I feel so much better now that I can see the end in all of this!
