I have decided to work with PDL assistance to help me with the payday loans that I actually owe on. I had 11 total. Of the 11 I had overpaid 5 of them by appx $2300. I am working on them myself, but I will let PDL assistance deal with the 6 remaining. So far they have been very helpful to me and over the next several months will be saving me a ton of money that would have gone to the PDL's.

Thank you Roxy, this is the second time I got into this trap and I've been reading the post's on this website for the last several years to do some research. They have helped me out a lot & have made me feel much more comfortable in dealing with the collectors and companies. I've learned my lesson this time around.

Hey Dawn how is PDL Assistance doing as far as handeling the defaulted loans harrasing calls if any? And have they settled any loans for you yet saving you 40-70% like they claim? I am thinking of joining, but hesitant to send my money to outside source for settlement payments. Please help me out.

I'm with Jon1972 on this one. You can do it yourself. I had considered Langhorne but after speaking with them I chose not to do so for several reasons. One, I didn't know who I was dealing with and I didn't like the attitude I was getting. Two, they were asking for way too much money to settle my debts. Three, they were not going to pay anyone until they had "collected" my money to "settle" with the PDL. And, finally they were telling me that they could settle for about $150-200 over and above what I had already paid the PDL, which was the amount I had deposited into my account. No thank you. I have better things to do with my money than give MORE of it away.

Hi,
So far PDL has helped with the calls and collectors. The amount I was quoted to settle was less than 1/2 of what I actually "owed" to the pdl's. I am taking care of the one's that I have overpaid. As I take care of them I call to remove them from my account and they update my information. I make my first payment this month and was advised that as I build the account up, they start contacting the pdl's to settle. So far I have 6 remaining that I actually owe money to and 1 of them hasn't contacted me at all so it could drop down to 5.

Amostov, We would be happy to help you work on this yourself. Please post what state you are in, whether the companies are storefront or internet, the names of the companies, how much you borrowed from each and the total of how much you paid back to each.

When you do this it would be really helpful to all of us, including you, if you start your own thread. It helps you keep your information together, helps you find your information and helps us find you easier so your questions can get answered as quickly as possible. If you need help with this just post and we will guide you through the steps.

So I called PDL and they seemed to be confused in their contract. Well at least the CS rep was. She told me that I can cancel at any time and get my money back from monthly installments. Then as we were reviewing the contract it stated no refunds of fees. I wonder if this includes my so called personal savings account in Global Client Solutions/RockyMount Bank & Trust. I need a lil insight on this operation if anyone knows anything. I heard of rip off reports of this bank befor they take money from clients and do not refund. I have yet to see a success story on this thread, maybe beacuse they have been in existence a lil over a yr. Help Please!

I would have to disagree with you. A lot of settlement company's use them and they are legit Global Client Solutions/RockyMount Bank & Trust is legit. The money that is left in the Global Client Solutions/RockyMount Bank & Trust is the money left to use to settle the debt and if you cancel any money in the account that wasn`t towards fee would go to you. This is basically how a ton off settlement company's work.

Oak View Law doesn`t handle pay day loans. They handle credit cards debt , medical bills , unsecured loans , collections and stuff like that. The only two company's that exist that handle pay days loans if Langhorne debt solutions and PDL Assistance.
