came in the mail yeaterday. A money order for $425 from AIP.  They never exlained how they calculated it and it was quite a bit less than I think I've overpaid them over the last two years, but I needed the money fast, so I sent it in for deposit today.
Today I received a response via email from the BBB in Deleware and an attached letter from AIP stating that my account was being closed and that I was being refunded. They never used the words "paid in full". Of course, they did not admit to any wrongdoing, and spoke as if they were "accommodating me". 
Oh well, first PDL bites the dust.   I never received one phone call from them...

Yay! AIP usually comes through just with a complaint with the BBB. Congratulations to you! I am so happy to read this! I got the same response "We didn't do anything wrong, but we're refunding the overpayment". LOL! Great job!
