I am currently in payday loan debt for about $4000 and I can see no way out. ANY IDEAS?

Bankruptcy, hire a settlement company (there are couple that specialize in PDL's) or do-it-yourself with the help you can get from other posters. Personally I prefer the do-it-yourself approach but some people are willing to pay someone else to deal with the aggravation.
What you should do now is post the state you live in, who you borrowed from and how much you borrowed from each. Someone will be along to give you advice.

Florida requires Internet based pdl's to be licensed by your state, however, there are some lenders which are CSO's (Credit Service Organization) which would not follow the laws below. I am not that familiar with how CSO's operate, so I would advise you to check back every now and then to see if anyone else has responded with advice.
