Hello all,
Like everyone else here, I have too many PDLs outstanding. They are all Internet lenders.
I spent some time on the phone today trying to get PIFs on the ones where the lenders already have recouped their money:
Integrity Advance: borrowed $500; paid to date $1135
USFastCash: borrowed $400; paid to date $945
Loanpoint USA: borrowed $600; paid to date $1260
Loanpoint was willing to settle for the amount paid plus this week's rollover fee of $180 (total paid $1440). The two others refuse to budge. Have any Californians had success in dealing with these outfits?

I want to let you know I am just starting like you to get out of this trap. Follow what this site has to say, and if you find out your internet PDL's are illegal in California and you have paid more than the amount you barrowed then you are done. You need to CLOSE your bank account and do not let any of them have the new account number. I called and spoke with the counsol handling the C&D orders at the Department of Corps in California today and she told me they are going back to court May 2010 to have the courts decide if they are going to be blocked from ever working with California residents. They claim they are tribal and dont have to follow our laws, but she told me it goes both ways. They can not touch us in California and she said she has never heard of any of them filing any law suits against California residents. She said the worst they can do is harassing phone calls, so just hang up and done feed them any information. BUT she did say you must file all complaints with every single place you can BBB, AG, Dept. of CORPS. I am scared right now, but I know I have the support of this site and you will too.
