think i am finaly getting out of my depression and am ready to fight again..let things go a few months and did absolutly nothing about my pdls. am receiving emails saying i can pay them with my rebate check. then started receiving phone calls from a guy named scott miller. heavy accent and threatening. either i or my attorney need to call him immediately. does not identify who what agency he is calling from. tried to google and found one person that received a call from the same number. tried looking number up on this site with no success.
am debating whether to call them back..

I called the number that was left on my VM and charles answered the phone NOT SCOTT Funny since it was the same guy who called and left me the messages. must have a bunch of names he goes by. Said he was calling from Sonic Bank..never heard of it.. has anyone else received calls from this guy 949-612-1325. Kept asking for my name, but wouldn't give it to him.

It's a Ca. number, that is all I could find out.

Sonic bank/pay goes by several aka's. Cash Transfer Centers, Northway Debit, to name a few. It could be another pdl you borrowed from with a different name.

that is what i am trying to find out. The guy lied to me..as far as i know there is no sonic bank... and that is who he said he worked for. i do have pdls out standing but know who they are and sonic is not one of them.

I got a call from someone named Charles with a heavy accent saying he was from US National Bank - they are a scam, it was also the same number-949. Don't call back.

When this guy called me he said his name was scott miller. when i called back, he answered the phone as charles. can you tell me where to go to find out what akas they operate under? I would like to know who i am dealing with.

white. . follow Ldolls advice. . .don't call back. If he is unwilling to accurately identify himself then so be it. Unless you are up to a shouting match, I would let it ride for a bit. He will eventually come clean (ha ha) and give you the info you need/want.

Then I, personally would confront him. I don't like playing games. If someone has something to say, say it. If he was doing something by the book, he would not be hiding behind aka's and tell you who sent him to you and what exactly they want. I know how hard it is to deal with these criminals but stand firm. You can't defend yourself against an unknown factor.

Good afternoon - thanks for all your posts and info. Just returned to this message from scott miller, 949-612-1325 and insisting that either I or my attorney contact him. He did not identify his company. I had one pay day loan that was paid off 3+ years ago. Will follow your advice and NOT contact him.

Is the call coming from Us National Bank or Us National Bank Crime Division? Either way there are reports on rip off report regarding both. Might be worth a look.
