From Minnesota - 2 PDLs from years ago. SSM and Ashland, both $300.00 each.

I have paid $360.00 in interest alone on each.

A couple of years ago I closed my account, contacted the Minnesota Attorney General's office for which they collection agency at that time - Lighthouse - returned to sender the Attorney Genera's mail. Fast forward to last month.

Peachtree law firm calls my 2 sons - I told them to send it in writing. I will not discuss anything until I get my dunning letter.

Today - they call my employer - many times - all the way to Human Resources. I called Peach Tree back stating - they are forbidden from calling my employer I am not allowed to get calls at work. I emailed it to them as well and will mail it. I also told them that they violated my rights by not providing me with with my dunning letter.

They stated they did mail it. I stated that I have lived at the same place for 5 years and never got a letter - not once. I informed then that I demand my dunning letter and they better send it certified.

I am wondering has Peach Tree ever really sued anyone? I assume I will never get the dunning letter. I have notified HR to not respond to them.

What else can I do. It embarassed me to no end.

Well... I won't be able to let you know whether or not Peach Tree had sued anyone or not. However, it is true that they should send you the dunning letter. Once you receive the letter you should request them to validate the debt. Unless they validate the debt, you shouldn't pay them a dime.

The refuse to send me anything in writing. They just continue to harass my employer which is frustrating and embarassing.
