Go to intercepteft.com. Go to the contact us. Fill in all the required fields. I just put NA in the ones that did not apply to me. I told them exactly what was going on and attached a copy of my C and D letter to let them know that the PDL was illegal. Just make sure you copy it before you send it so you can send it to the PDL when you inform them that you have contacted their processor. You have to let the PDL know that you have been in touch with the processor. That is the only way of getting the leverage you need.

maria...it sounds like you and me are in the same boat...i cant get the banks or ach processor to help...i emailed intercept on tuesday and still no word...will probably shoot off another email today

problem is you waited too long to close the account..every bank takes about 3 business days to CLOSE the account permanently.

Not exactly true... if there are no outstanding items in a "pending" status and the account is at a zero balance the account, in most instances, can be coded as closed immeiately.

Guys Keep after those ACH Processors. They say they can't help you but when you press them they will call the PDL. PDL's do not like calls from processors because without them they can't get at your money. Keep calling, I did and got a refund from 2 out of 3 and all three marked PIF. Who are the processors from each of your PDL's and I may be able to help give you a name or e-mail to contact.

As soon as I got my account to the positive side they restricted it from any debits coming out and closed it that day. I believe it "officially" closed at midnight that day.

so intercept just emailed me requesting more information to see if they do in fact process any of my pdl's even though they told me before they couldnt help me...i had to fax the information to her and she will get back to me and if they do..she said she will contact the pdl in regards to the issue...i will keep everyone posted...she seems very hepful...i am also from ohio where they are fighting payday loans and running all sorts of news stories...i did use that comment to my advantage..i think

I'm going to e-mail Intercept right. This is what I have typed so far:
I called yesterday with the same issues. There are two payday loans (Ameriloan and OneClick Cash) that has been debiting my account. I called to have my transactions revoked and i was told that was not possible that I needed to contact the payday loans to work something out.
I'm going to attach the letter I will be sending PDL as well. What else do I tell them? Yeah I'm dumb. Sorry.

i said...that the payday loans were denying my requests and keep trying to debit my account when i have overpaid and they are illegal to lend in ohio. i tried to do the right thing and handle the issues with the payday loan companies but they are being unresponsive.

she did already reply back saying she received my fax and will be investigating and carbon copied another gentleman at intercept as well...gives me a little hope. i have just been real nice..thanking her for her time and patience..and told i would cooperate any way possible

Good job guys! Intercept emailed UFC right when I was on the phone with them. Next thing I knew I had a PIF in hand. Perhaps the processors are starting to see what they have gotten themselves into with the PDLs. Keep at em'. Like I said, if the PDLs can't get their funds moved, they ain't going nowhere. Keep us posted.
