Well, It's done I have told my husband. He is very supportive but also very bitter. I have closed my acct, and our jnt acct. We changed our phone number too. This is the 1st week some of these companies aren't getting pd. What is goin to happen now? I am scared to hear the answers but I guess I need to be ready. Thanks

It will be okay lizziek2. Did you send letters to the companies? I am sure they will continue to harass you, but be strong! You can do it!

Yes, I was given a letter by one of the other members here that I sent out to all of the companies I owe. I will send you a personal message with the letter enclosed. It revokes any wage assignment you may have authorized and tells them they are not allowed to contact you by phone. I will send it to you shortly.

Excellent advice from darc! Most definitely, get the letters out certified mail.
