Wow, the scumbag payday loan people are sure trying hard to get me to borrow. There were over 15 emails from them this morning. I started thinking how sad that they prey on people during the holidays. I am praying for all of those out there that are struggling to get out of this mess and also praying that 2008 will find an end to these predatory business. God Bless all of you here that help so many people. I am finally done with the payday loan people but unfortunately still stuck with CashCall. You guys keep me from ever taking another payday loan and I salute all of you especially Gouda, Soccerballmom, FreakyFriday and any of you that I might have missed. Your contributions to this forum I am sure have helped hundreds of people and you should really pat yourselves on the back for your wonderful humanity.

That's great Star!! You are right- they want to have people borrow more-but they don't count on people becoming educated in debt!! Congrats to you--keep up the fight!!..KAren

Star...I had e-mail for 6 months (from IPDL's) after I defaulted on my loans and were trying to settle with them. Even one PDL that I had made arrangements with kept e-mailing me and asking me to take out another loan. Most of them do that just to get your new information...some are just stupid! But good for you keep up the good work!

 at CAjun- you are soo right! I told that to LVNV once- that they sounded like they were associated with the mob, and wasn't that considered strong-arming she hung up!

Thank you!! and definately back at you!! And you are so right--I wouldn't be surprised if some were connected with the mob--not at all! It would be another line for Tony Soprano and the boys, right? A dear friend of mine once told me to peel back the layers, and it would be interesting to do that with these PDL's to see who they are owned by.
