Yes, you need to close it asap. As soon as they hear that you are telling them to stop taking your money , they will go in and take everything. Close asap.

its just a lil scary cuz i have borrowed from payday loans and unfortunately was unable to pay due to my acct going neg. and the bank closing my acct. I didnt intentionally not pay them back just went thru a financial hardship and am still there, so i didnt know if he was calling from one of those places. Especially when he told me he was from the white collar crime unit

raider, I know they scare the crap out of people. Who wouldn't get rattled hearing someone tell them that? Good Lord! But, as you can see, many people have dealt with this illegal idiot who's making phone calls with illegal threats. There is no such place. He is some bozo with a "call list" that he dials all day long telling people this crap. Do not let him ruffle you at all. Blow him off. Laugh at him. It's an empty, empty, illegal, illegal threat. That's it. Okay? So, do not be worried about this dude at all. What a scam artist!!!

This Us national bank has about a million threads going at this point. There is no such place, and it is a very illegal scare tactic. We all need to just ignore them.

United Cash Loans calls me every day, and they insist that they're legal in my State. I told them that if they have the, uh, "guts" to send me something to that effect in writing, on company letterhead, that we'll talk. Otherwise, I've told them when they call, I'm just going to hang up on them, which I've been doing. By now, I've learned that these stinkers will use any tactic they can to bully or scare people into giving them more money; what an awful way to make a living, huh?

This issue happened to one of my coworkers. Stating he borrowed $300 and had to pay back $390 from October of 2008. First they said December 2008. With all the fees he now owes $5200. Ummm, no I dont think they are correct. They said they have all of his information and wanted a bank statement proving he never received money. Well he isn't sending it because that will give them more acct info. The number came from Florida, but when you call it, it is disconnected. They only way to corresponde is via email. They threatened to have him picked up and taken to court tomorrow. We are in the miltiary and with the new law, he couldnt have received a payday loan at that time anyways.
