Sub: #1 Help Payday loan threats US National Bank

I have a problem, In 2004 I took out a few payday loans, apparently more than I could handle, they are all internet, unfortunately I do not remember all of their names. The payday loans were taking every penny out of my account and it still wasn't enough so my account went negative. In February of 2005 my bank made me close my account and I had to take a loan from my bank to pay them back. I opened a new account and had my checks sent there. In July of 2007 I got a call from Robert Matthews stating that there was a warrant that was going to be issued for my arrest if I didn't pay the amount was for 1700. I asked for verification and he just stated that he was going to have charges pressed against me for internet fraud, bank fraud, and check fraud. I was scared and sent him a money order. He said he would send me my resolution packet in 7 to 10 business days. Come to find out he works for "US National Bank. All said and done February of this year I received a phone call from a Karen Richardson stating that she needed my attorney's information, I told her I didn't have one and she said that her clients were looking to press charges against me for internet fraud, bank fraud, and check fraud. She asked me how I wanted to resolved this, this as for two loans she would not tell me the names of the original loans because the clients did not feel it was necessary to tell me because the had my social security number linking me to some database and at the time they were going to press charges. She told me the amount was 2205 because of interest and fees. I told her I didn't have the whole amout but I could pay 1300 now and make payments. So that is what I am doing. A week and a half later Patrick Davis from US National Bank is calling me threatening me with the same stuff so I had to make payments with him, he said that I would recieve my packet after I made final payment so scared as I was I said yes. Can they actually charge me with fraud? Can I go to jail I am scared, my husband is in the military I do not want him to get in trouble. I am so afraid now to answer the phone, I get panic attacks when it rings? I live in Texas, can anyone help me?

You can not go to jail for not payong an internet pay day loan. This is a very illegal scare tactic they use to get money from you.
If you can list the lenders, the amounts borrowed, the amounts you have already paid back, we can help you here.
Please calm down. No one will arrest you for this.

These are the ones I can remember

Sonic Cash amt borrowed 300
FSM ?
United Cash loans 300
Prefered Cash 300
Cash Advanced 300

There might be some more but I can't think of any
I know I paid Robert Matthews from CRC $1700, but he never sent me any paper work. Karen Richardson, US National bank I have paid $1700, with 500 still due but she refused to tell me the names of the original loans. Patrick davis who also is from US National bank said he is collecting for Sonic Fast Cash and FSM, I've paid 300 to him and owe 921 more. When I asked Karen richardson the names of the loans she told me that her clients didn't feel it was necessary to inform me of the names of the loans because I had the original paperwork, she then stated that they have my social security number linking me to some sort of database and at the time they were going to file charges. I thought you couldn't buy your way out of jail

I don't know who CRC is I found out that he also works for US National bank. Unfortunately I don't remember how much I've paid back because I had to close my old bank account. It says on my old bank statement but I don't have it. The only thing that I have is some paperwork stating that the pay off amt for United Cash loans, Cash Advance, and preferred is 195 dollars for each, its possible that I have paid them off through US National bank but they haven't sent me anything yet and that incudes the two that I am paying now

us national bank does not exist.it is made up by a collection agency for one or more of your loans.
it is a common scare tactic by these people.if there is a us national bank, they wouldn't act as illegaly as that.

So it is a collection agency that is violating the fdcpa by making threats? They are not on my credit report. Isn't what they are doing illegal

Ok, I just get really scared when someone calls my phone and threatens me with fraud charges and tell me that they are putting a warrant out for my arrest. I understand that I owe the debt, but I have been scared into paying exhuberant amounts of money and no details, just that if I don't pay I go to jail. So when my phone rings I freak out and pay them whatever they want and they never send me anything I am living everday in fear and I don't know what to do if they call and tell me to pay and I don't have the money, I just got out of the military and my husband is the one working and paying them.

ok,you will not, repeat will not be arrested.
try this the next time they call.tell them to stick it.sorry to be graphic, but just try it.one of two things will happen.

a)they will call back 1-2 hours like the call never happened.

b)they will call back the next day like the call never happened.

i guarantee, they will not arrest you,it is a scare tactic.trust me on this, steel yourself and be strong with them.

yes,you should.i saw crc on one of your earlier posts here.try them first.someone should be able to get that info if not already.just take heart, they can't do any of what they threaten.if you can just get a company name out of them.all right we need how much total you have paid on each loan, not just rollovers.that includes the money paid to these cs'a.

United Cash Loans, Cash Advance, and Prefered Cash Loans, I don't remember what I paid because my old account got closed down 3 years ago. I have statement from all three stating (back in 2004) that the pay off balance is 195
