Has anyone been dealing with these yahoo's lately? I got a response just now and wanted to know what will actually happen. I have paid $750 thus far on $500 loan and actually sent them a letter stating I would like a refund of $250 as I have paid back the principle on an illegal debt... Are they easy to work with?
Here is what they said:
your email has been received & forwarded to our legal department. Counsel will review your letter and contact you via email. Thanks,

this is internet right?if so there legal dept will most likely start threatening.save your emails.you will need them to take the usual actions.

yes, internet loan...just curious..I have already filed with bbb and AG of my state (TX)..just curious of others dealing with them...

purple, do you know how many of my pdls sent me to the "legal department"? It was amazing! I didn't have NetCash; however, I had many, many that sent me to the "legal department". What was their "legal department"??? It was THEM. Yes, THEM. It was a bunch of crap. Keep everything in writing. You've filed your complaints. You're okay. Keep strong. They are trying to scare you with "legal" talk. It's bullcrap. MTE has a "legal department".  And they're illegal! Keep that in mind.

Yes, I've dealt with them; they weren't as bad to me as some of the companies but you'll hear from them.... hang in there! As others have said, they'll use all kinds of scary-sounding terms, but all of these outfits are the same...
