I obtained this information from the link below about this company you are dealing with: I'm not possitive how accurate it is, however, I've read several threads about them and it appears they are illegal.

| Quote: | The company uses the names: Sonic Payday, PRL Direct, Cash Transfer Centers, and PayDay Avenue...They all fall under the NDG Group of Companies and the call centers are called ECare Contact Centers.
Please note: There threats are meaningless. If they tell you they are going to Wage Assign you all you have to do is write/fax them a letter stating you REVOKE the wage assignment. Then call your bank and you can discuss with them how to remove the companies ability to ACH Debit your account. NOTE: This company has not nor will not ever sue...They barely effect your credit if at all.
The company is run by a men named Paul Ash in Winnipeg and Peter Ash in Surrey. The President is a lady named Kim DeThomas in Winnipeg. The reason the lenders name keeps changing is so that they can fly under the radar of the Attorney Generals office by not showing high volumes of loans. Note: Their name changes and they won't take on new clients under the name but will maintain the old ones.
If you have had a problem with your loan please note:
1. If you revoke the wage assignment they can not send it to your employer.
2. If you advise them that they are to contact you by mail only (simply state:Cease and Desist calling me) they can not call you.
3. Also tell your employer/payroll person that they will be calling because they will call and verify your employment, this may include an EMail to your employer stating you have an outstanding balance. Don't sweat it, tell your employer it will be handled then revoke there wage assignment by sending a fax to them, your employer will not hear from them again.
4. Sit back and wait for a couple months and a legitimate collection agency may call and then simply make payment arrangements to split the loan into easier payments.
NOTE: You will not be sued so don't worry |

That is great news. Some payroll departments are really in the know. Yours is, others have no clue what a wage assignment even is.
